I dislike this narrator almost more than the male Fitz narrator. Ugh. But the story is great as ever.

Surprisingly, I am finding this quite entertaining.

Reading Where the Gold Apples Grow by Kage Baker. This is actually a novella. I hope it doesn’t take me too long!

Reading with buddies in SpecFic Buddy Reads as we make our way through The Very Best of the Very Best - 35 Years of the Best Science Fiction.

I’m hoping I’ll like this one more than the previous 3 stories. I really enjoyed In the Garden of Iden <\i>

Searching for one of Bruce Chatwin’s photographs I discovered Werner Herzog made a documentary about Chatwin - Nomad: In the Footsteps of Bruce Chatwin, which of course isn’t really available either.

Super easy, sweet read so far.

I have to admit to being bored by the essays on some aspect of history. I skipped the one in Nomads. There’s also an essay about an American artist who died in a fire in Amsterdam, that I’m not sure I’m going to read. I much prefer the chapters in first POV that detail Chatwin’s travels.

So nice to see Po again!

I skipped most of Heavenly Horses (mostly just a history lesson I was bored with, but Rock’s World was lovely.
