Premise a bit silly so far. A famous socialite has a secret husband and she punches the mistress in the face in public...and the mistress is the one paying the consequences? She should be the one suing the socialite and giving interviews telling all about the cheating husband and how she was deceived!!

What kind of friends are these that befriend the guy that left you at the altar? Also, don’t know what happened between them and they’ve been in a room alone, once, for a few minutes. It’s getting tiresome.

What exactly happened? Too many contradictory hints. She said he left her at the altar, he said she broke it up with him.

Who the hell gets so worked up over a one night stand? Why would you expect him to be truthful? The way I see it, if you agree to sleep with somebody you don't know, you shouldn't be surprised about anything you discover about them.

Lots of flaws in this book so far. It's almost halfway through the book and 1) we still don't know why she broke the betrothal. 2) The Duke's plan to get him to marry her is very weird - so far he just ignores her and or/yells at her (they're not even sleeping together.) 3) She's so annoying!! I hate meddlers.

“I feel tingly with excitement and and it has nothing to do with the earth shattering sex I had a few hours ago and everything to do with hockey.” 😱😱 This line alone means this will be a 2-stars. She cares more for hockey than for him, gross!!

The end of this book was so interesting and Kresley Cole never followed through. Instead, she just kept adding new (uninteresting) characters. What the heck happened with her?

For the first time, I realized why the Dacians declared Lothaire to the their king. I missed the explanation in all my prior re-reads!!
