I refused to read this book until the audio came out (so to speak haha!!) I hadn’t realized until now that it finally happened!

There’s being confident and then there’s being delusional. This heroine is in the present for 5 minutes and she thinks her human self can kill La Dorada? A sorcerer than even “The Enemy of Old” hasn’t been able to kill? She’s going from the Little Leagues to the All Star game and she thinks she compete because she’s a Carney? 😂😂

These books are so over the top, I don’t know how Robert Petkoff narrates them with a straight face!! I’ve been laughing my ass off with the ridiculousness.

So they finally they sleep together and the subsequent trysts are just mentioned? With how long this book is, I was expecting a lot more graphic love scenes - and turning the vibrator on while she was in a meeting with her grandfather was NOT sexy!! Good grief! 🙄

I can’t believe this audiobook has been going on for 7 hours and I’m barely halfway through. And so little has happened there’s only one hookup! 🫤

Haha the writing in this book is so awkward! I actually laughed at the way he introduced the heroine to his children. The author wanted him to sound formal but instead, it was just weird.

This book is so effing boring. I’m halfway through the book and only one day has passed. So far they’ve gone to a bakery, an abandoned rehabilitation center twice to look for who knows what and now they’re at a club, meeting friends. There’s been lots of talk, ZERO action. I don’t know why I’m still reading this series.

This intergalactic Bachelor competition is hilarious! After the intros, I think I liked “Team Frown” (not surprising, given that I’m the grumpy type.) As expected though, she didn’t do well in the ratings. At least she’s not last!!
