Slow moving but very thought provoking.

Very entertaining - though you need to give the characters time to fully develop.

This is so different from Whinny the Pooh - more for adults - but just as humorous.

Amazing how traditional enemies worked together to defeat a modern enemy. Amazing how few trusted each other - yet had to trust in order to survive and how men and women formed profound friendships despite the horrors of the times.

I am really hoping that history doesn't repeat itself any time soon. Some things should never be repeated.

I've just started but I am intrigued!

I've been using this as a text for my high school daughter and I must say - this is one of the most interesting, well balanced history books I have ever read. Fascinating material.

Mull makes the impossible actually seem reasonable. The mark of a gifted author.

Brandon Mull sure has a powerful imagination!

This is such a well written book - thought provoking, true to life, honest, beautifully done.

Well written - but I hope it gets less depressing...

This book is so original and well written - my kids And I are really enjoying it as a read-aloud in the evenings.

So much to think about. Though I've lived in a 3rd world country - it takes a remarkable author to really put you into the mind set of people who live in a very different world.
