I just learned that readers can "Ask The Author" questions on my author profile page. Any one with any questions feel free - I'd be happy to respond. OK - I can't share state secrets or solve the puzzles of the universe - but other than that...

To those doing reviews - thank you! I really appreciate it. I am doing reviews myself and I know the work that goes into it.

I got to admit - I am stunned by the utter "out-of-the-box" thinking in these stories - who would of thought of taking good elves and turning them into aliens?

Only one story so far I can't say I liked - all the rest have been great!

i am really enjoying this book - it is far more powerful than I realized! Human brains put into monkey bodies - after i read the news this morning - that doesn't sound so impossible. Scary yes, impossible, no. A book to make us ponder where we are going...

I am reading this aloud to the kids and having a wonderful time. Great story that really puts you in Egypt in the time of the pharaohs with honest internal conflict.

From the cover I thought this book was meant for kids - but I was so wrong. This is a great science fiction mystery with wonderfully plausible details. Really enjoying it.

I am amazed at the level of honesty and detail offered in this book. This is really a great relationship story - including all kinds of relationships and how hard it can be to understand each other...

Some great Christian fiction out there - you just have to be willing to take a chance on a new author. I have been pleasantly surprised lately.

Well, I didn't THAT coming but I like the plot twist and I am having to pull myself away from this book or I'll never get any sleep!

I just barely began this book but I am finding it fascinating to look at our world from such a different perspective. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I stayed up way late reading this book - I had to argue with myself to put it down! Romance told from a man's point of view but so well told, so much much more than "just a romance" I am honestly impressed. Looking forward to getting back to it.

Being in power is dangerous - especially for those hanging around people in power. Some days it doesn't take much to get yourself killed.

I never thought of myself as a science fiction fan - but when I think about it - I guess I am. I am really enjoying these Hugo winners.

I agree that humility is the key to happiness but I'm not too keen on this "show yourself to be so submissive that all may...trample you you underfoot like mud...? Whoa, why did God raise us out of the dust if we throw ourselves right back into it? Metaphor? If so - its poorly worded.

I have got to admit, I doubt I would give my kid an army to play with, even if he was going to be the Tsar. Maybe I have control issues...

No doubt about it,great men are effected by their childhoods - just like the rest of us. Makes you think, what kind of childhood are we giving our kids....

Knowing a person's history really helps to understand why they acted as they did - not to condone always - but at least understand a bit better. What a life Peter had!

Interesting moral development and some great humor. Science fiction looks at things from a completely different angle which sometimes jolts a person out of the ordinary. Not a bad idea on occasion.

There is suspense here I did not expect...masterfully done.

I can't stop reading this book! Even late at night - and that spells trouble for early mornings. Oh well, you only live once!

There are characters in this book that feel so real - I'm thinking they ARE real.

What an amazing writer! Dena Hunt just put this book out in 2013 and it is a treasure. The characters are so real - she has a gift for getting to the soul and looking deep.
