Wow, this author is trying way too hard this early in the book.

The author lost me twenty pages ago.

Okay, I am really confused now. Surely there is going to be an explanation for why this one character who died a horribly violent death is, in the final quarter of the book, living their best life egging houses on Halloween night.

This is getting kinda dumb. There's gross out horror and then there's just trying with every word to be so repulsive that people don't want to keep reading. Still, I soldier on.

'Eddie wasn’t sure if she was dead, but he was too close to cumming to stop now. He pounded Doris into the mattress a few more times before he filled her up. “That was almost as good as bingo. Thank you, Eddie.” She pecked him on the cheek. “Now, if you don’t mind I need to get ready for bingo.”'

“You’re not going to break my bones, I’ve been having calcium injections for my osteoporosis. Really pound that pussy.” Eddie did, and the wayward uterus went back to the ovaries to tell them there was no escaping that way. Doris screamed, coughed, screamed again, and then went limp.'

'The average life expectancy for a Hell Diver was fifteen jumps. This was Xavier Rodriguez’s ninety-sixth, and he was about to do it with a hangover.'

GREAT opening line.

“My smell?” I gave my own armpit a sniff test. “Seriously? That’s the hottest thing about me?” “It tells me that our cubs will be strong,” Fela explained. “Smelling you makes my womb ache and the place between my legs slick. Even if my mind did not love you, my body needs to make cubs with you.”
