Just judging from the synopsis and cover alone, this one reeks of awesomeness.

This one's pretty annoying so far. I chalked it up to a new author trying to find his voice. Then I looked closer and saw his bibliography. I will never forgive myself for buying ANOTHER book off of the guy who shat out 'A Well Dressed Wound.' Derek, do you know just how terrible AWDW really is!?

Jeremy Maddux is reading Don't Thowe Away Please
'He originally bought the camper to stick Grandma in; a granny pod. She lived five years in it before I found her dead on the floor. What I assume gave her a heart attack was discovering a bunch of tiny Jeremy Robert Johnsons living in one of the compartment seats in the kitchen. They were writing his next novel for him. I was supposed to have the camper after Grandma but the Jeremy’s took over.'

Jeremy Maddux is on page 115 of 213 of The Patron Saint of Pinball
'Plato accused Socrates of regurgitating a rhetoric of moral superiority that didn’t account for the will of the people, and Socrates accused Plato of being an ungrateful, punk-ass little bitch. And do you know what happened? I shook my head, even though I knew I didn’t need to. Otto said: Diogenes threw a pile of his own shit at both of them.'

So ultimately Diogenes had nothing meaningful to fucking say then.

Oh God no. Not the dog. Everyone is expendable, even Hughie. Mother's Milk. Frenchie. But for God's sake, NEVER THE DOG!!!

Bravo, man. Bra-vo! Private island boy's club for superheroes to get up to every shade of debauchery, and a massive secret service coup to top it off! I say again, bravo! I do hope we see some form of this storyline on the show.

As awesome as this series is, it's one of the rare instances where the tv show is better. The tv show makes better use of characters, more sensible plots, less over the top cartoon theatrics, more time spent seeing through the eyes of 'supes' instead of just The Boys. Tv show > Comics

Jeremy Maddux is reading The Black Veldt
It's a crime that there's hundreds, thousands of unique fiction and nonfiction books out there and such a small chance of any of them becoming bestsellers. Writers have more freedom now than ever, as long as they don't comply with 'social justice' standards.

This story isn't without its interesting moments. The problem is that, so far, all it's focused on are the main character's sexual deviances. There are plenty other kinds of pathos that have nothing to do with sex, but McHardy goes all in on the latter.

I'm going to start this series smack dab in the middle and I don't even care. I might read the first two later on but I will start wherever I please, because I can.
