'Primordial chaos ripped through Clock and his cells sang. The warden’s chaoptin molecule rained arrows from his spiritual photoreceptors, a dazzling array of psychic fireworks from his powerful third eye. Buffeted by Typhon’s steadfastness, they drove themselves deep into that hellish pocket dimension, appearing as streaks of lightning in that sordid, grey, hellscape.'

This is what the ocean-demon had given birth to. This floating strip of extradimensional insanity. The low souls of demonic men passed through it, disguised as specks of insectile debris.

'He may be a wanderer from another strand of the Brane. Such individuals are not uncommon; possibly a traveler from the alternate time-line we created from this dimension several years ago. There are gateways between the two, glitches that we have not completely been able to delete as of yet.' I eat this stuff up so easily. Awesome!

Out of all these recent attempts at scaling multiversal reality, this one may be one of the best. I spoke highly of Standalone by Paul Michael Anderson recently. This one slightly defeats Standalone in sheer awesomeness.

'We have sundered this dimension twice during the past decade, creating parallel time lines to distort consensus reality. We will soon infest this strand’s galactic ether, and therefore circumvent the zodiacal energy that travels through it. We will devour its properties and break this dimension’s Great Wheel in celebration.'

'We now live inside machines. We inhabit every form of electronic surveillance, and have nearly mastered this dimension’s material plane. We possess the terrestrial. Most of humanity’s leaders are under our control, and within short time all will be. We have conquered many strands of the Brane Multiverse, and this one will be no different.'

I don't know if I'm going to be able to finish this. Good God Almighty... I've never needed a vomit bag for reading material before, but hey, first time for everything. If I even decide to continue...

'I take their napkins and copies of The Rules of Attraction and sign them with, I wrote this fucking book, bitch, don’t you ever ask Bret Easton Ellis to sign a book he didn’t even write ever again, and then finish it off with a heart that looks like the Smashing Pumpkins’ heart but with my initials in it.'

'...it’s technically winter, and I sip a vodka martini while he slowly bleeds out our waitress over the table and pays off the hostess to look the other way, calls it research, says he’s doing a study for a script treatment, that his actions are necessary to make more books that can be made into bad movies that will make him more money than the books and everyone smiles and asks for his autograph...'

Instead, I have no patience, so I walk away to find self-help books that can tell me how to kill someone better and pleasure oneself afterward, and from there on out be pleasured and fulfilled by life.
