This whole "hiding Gabe's possible involvement from Aiden" thing is giving me bad memory flashbacks to the secrets between Ty & Zane. I hope this doesn't spiral out of control before it's yanked back in the next book...

OMG! I totally made an "I don't want your life" comparison in my last update...and I'll be damned if Whiskey didn't just say "I could have had this life" and it sounded every bit as bad as JVDB did in Varsity Blues. Okay, so I read the first one of this series & now I'm listening to this one. And I should be ecstatically happy because OMG Tristan James, right? Uh, no. So much no. Okay, this is freaking me out. The narrator sounds like one of the Ty Grady voices...but none of the Cut & Run series is listed under the name credited for this audiobook. ARGH. Could it be a pseudonym? It's so distracting, this not-knowing, because I can't focus on the story.

Hey, wait a minute. Didn't Gabe give his asshole ex a Fleshlight as a present for something, too? Sure, the scene was hot but if I were Dylan I'd be a little miffed at that lack of insight & originality. Especially when Gabe KNEW Dylan's watch was broken, had been for weeks. Not all that personal, I guess, but would have demonstrated individuality & observation. (I thought his asking the time hinted that, but no.)
