I can see why Rainer - himself a psychopathic killer - went into a rage after reading that bit.

Is it odd that when I read passages from the "wildlife narrator in Ezekiel's head" it sounds like Sir. David Attenborough in my head?

Also, I legit LOL every time the voice refers to Rainer as a "free-range psychopath."

Seriously, this book is disturbing in so many ways and I'm loving every minute of it. My eyes are gritty and I'm yawning every 12 seconds but I refuse to put it down...

Oh man, I should NOT like these two psychopathic side-characters as much as I do...they're just so ridiculous. I mean, planning a "field trip" to McDonald's in order to watch the poor, fat people eat? Discussing a murder spree while sipping champagne and eating caviar? I just...what the fuck? Why is that so amusing?

Clearly, I belong in this book.

Just wondering: Why do authors (and some RL people I know) use the phrase "bag of dicks" to imply something negative? Like, "he's acting like a bag of dicks," or "this sucks worse than a bag of dicks".

See, I wish authors would sound out the words they're trying to exaggerate. Like, "fuck." If you add extra Cs & Ks to the word, it reads like someone is stuttering. "Fuckkkk" is "Fucuhcuhcuhcuhcuh." I don't think that's the intention.

Please use, "Fuuuuuuck." Or something. Because it's annoying - as fuuuuuuck.

I'm almost at the point where I want to just skim the sex scenes. There have been what, 6 or 7 already and I'm only up to Chapter 4 & a little over 25% done. I'm kind of over it all. What the hell is up with that?

WTF? A fisting scene is practically laid out, ready to go...with, "letting the glove snap against his wrist once it was on." Only, for the encounter to end with no description of the action.

That's like, I dunno, filming a porno and then calling, "Cut!" before the come shot, and deliberately not recording it or including it anywhere in the production at all.
