It's prolly a good thing I de-activated before 2nd year because I'd have been shit at this hazing thing; I'm not the kind of person that would enjoy raining shit down on someone just because it was dumped on me first. I'd have just brushed off the ritualistic hazing and gotten lectured on it...

If you read my reviews you'll note that my opinion on audio narration by Joel Leslie tends to fluctuate between "good enough" and "meh." Something about his voice just sort of rubs me wrong.

That said: HOLY SHIT! I'm legit LOLing every other minute (or more) at how he's performing Henry, and the Aussie accent is probably one of his best.

Another book where the audio improves the experience, for certain!

Okay, so as much as I loved Keira Andrews's Kidnapped by the Pirate, this book has pretty much all the action not depicted in that one. From the cunning capture of a French vessel to the outright destruction of enemy ships, it's definitely not lacking on the adventure side!

#POINTS for using the plural of cannon correctly - it's still cannon!!

(Yes I know the other way is equally acceptable - technically - but I still hate it when an -s gets tacked on!)
