Glynis Jolly Is this high number of books read due to waiting in waiting rooms?

Hi Glynis!

LOL! Yep, that's certainly a contributing factor. *sigh* But at least that means I'm getting something out of all that wasted time. ;)

Glynis Jolly I hope they have ways for you to manage your symptoms so life is not always so dramatic for you.

Aww, thanks so much! *hugs*

message 5: by Jami (new)

Jami Yep, I was so far ahead that I increased my challenge from 50 books to 60 books. :)

message 6: by Glynis (new)

Glynis Jolly I'll be lucky if I get ten books read this year. I need to find a quiet place to read and I think I might need new glasses, which I cannot afford right now.

message 7: by Jami (new)

Jami That's how I usually am, Glynis--only a few books a year. But then I started reading on the Kindle app on my phone (where I can increase the font size to read it without glasses ;) ), and I always have my phone with me to read for a few minutes here or there. :)

That habit would have driven me crazy before. I much prefer long periods to read and enjoy the story, but I finally decided that reading in short spurts was better than not reading at all. LOL!

Glynis Jolly I don't have an iPhone. Don't even have a cell phone. My husband has a cell phone but it's more for his work. Eventually, things will work out. I just have to be patient.

message 9: by Jami (new)

Jami Oh yes, that would make it much harder. *fingers crossed* that things work out for you! *hugs*

Outstanding!

Thanks, Stephen! I might even reach 100 this year, but I don't want to pressure myself. LOL!

message 12: by Jami (new)

Jami Well, I just raised my challenge number for a *second* time! LOL! (I started at 50, then went to 60, and now I'm at 80. We'll see how I do... :) )

A reading machine!🙀

LOL! Stephen, I think my reading numbers this year are more a testament to all the chaos (like my health issues) interfering with my writing, but I can't complain about reading either. :)
