Thanks for the recs, Dawn! I will definitely do Dark Seduction, Mine Till Midnight, and The Mane Event. I've been wanting to try A Quick Bite for a while now and may add that by the end of the month. Thanks!

Ty | 1943 comments Hi Cacophony - your TBR was fun to run around!

Here are your picks. Hope you like them! Most are from your TBR.

1. Superman:
Flowers from the Storm - dear god. SUCH a classic. intense. I still remember the original cover of this book.
The Windflower - I swear, this is the rulebook against which all historical romances should be measured.

2. Green Lantern:
Heart of Steel - very different from Book 1, but still a great read
Sparks Fly - you seem to really enjoy the first 2 books!

3. Batman:
Kiss of the Highlander - Although this is book 4 in the highlander series, I don't really think books 1-3 were necessary for books 4 and beyond (I read them out of order myself!)
Something Wonderful - I loved this book like a fat kid loves cake. Actually, I loved all of Judith McNaught's early historicals. They make me swoon!

4. Wolverine:
Faefever - I noticed you were not a fan of the first two. But, I promise, they GET SO MUCH BETTER. JZB is definitely an anti-hero.
Storm Front - Harry Dresden is as flawed as ever. great series

5. The Hulk:
Unholy Ghosts - loved this series. a visceral, gripping read.
The Wreck - not on your TBR, but this one made me bawl like a baby.

6. Wonder Woman:
Gunmetal Magic - You love Kate and Curran (they are my favorite!!), you gotta love you some smart-mouth Andrea too, don't you? XD
Angelfall - I don't see any YA on your lists, but this is NOT typical YA and is a quick, intoxicating read. Definitely a kick-ass heroine! One of my favorites of 2012.

7. Thor:
I did a driveby of your TBR and these covers made my eyes pop! haha
Insatiable
Too Hot To Touch

8. Spider-man:
First Grave on the Right - I've been wanting to read this forever!
Touch the Dark - Another TBR for me. I hear good things about this series.

9. Captain America:
Winter Garden - this has been on my mental TBR forever. I think I read something somewhere a LONG time ago about how compelling this book was...
Heartless - You have book 2, Silent Melody (which is freaking awesome) on your TBR, but I don't see you having read this one. Heartless is great! The hero is so completely different from any you usually read in historicals, alpha, but in his own way. If you have read it, then I recommend Silent Melody instead!

So glad you liked your picks! Any of those will be great reads. Let me know what you think.

message 157: by MountainKat, Moderator (new)

MountainKat | 31598 comments Hi Nici - I had fun trying to find picks for you. I hope you like them!

1. Superman: First a classic - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I just read it for the first time last month for book club and enjoyed it. There are a few authors with books in genres that weren't prevalent on your shelves I would also recommend - Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas, Out Of Her League by Kaylea Cross and Something About You by Julie James. All of those are the first in series that I really enjoyed!

2. Green Lantern: You rated very highly Beyond the Highland Mist by Karen Marie Moning, the next book is To Tame A Highland Warrior. My favorite is Kiss of the Highlander - probably one of the most romantic books I have ever read! And funny too! You don't need to read the first three in that series, you could start with the fourth - and that is coming from someone completely OCD about reading books in order! Another suggestion would be to continue the In Death series by J.D. Robb, I couldn't tell for sure which book that would be for you though. =)

3. Batman: This book works for both parts of the description - Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. I just loved this book! It is also great in audio if you like audiobooks. And for a completely different type of book, how about Wild, Wicked, & Wanton by Jaci Burton? I thought it was a fun (and hot) read.

4. Wolverine: For this category, I found several books on your TBR that I really liked! First is Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian, not my favorite in the series, but in this case I do think you need to start at the beginning! Another suggestion is Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione. I love both of those series! Another book I read recently and really enjoyed is Soulless by Gail Carriger. This is another book that is really good in audio. I really want to get back to that series, just need to find the time...

5. The Hulk: Here I have one suggestion from your to-read shelf and one that isn't. From your shelf, Faith & Fidelity by Tere Michaels. This was much more emotional than I expected and very good. But the first book I thought of when I saw this was The Darkest Hour by Maya Banks. This book just grabbed my emotions and wouldn't let go! I loved it and all the Kelly brothers!

6. Wonder Woman: To choices, both from your to-read shelf - Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost and A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole. Leila is a great match for Vlad! And Cole's book is the first in a series about some wonderful women warriors.

7. Thor: Hot covers? I must include The Perfect Play (Play by Play, #1) by Jaci Burton by Jaci Burton! You want another? How about Flat-Out Sexy (Fast Track, #1) by Erin McCarthy by Erin McCarthy? Both are good books too! =P

Buddy Reads:
8. Spider-man: I've been seeing Bared to You by Sylvia Day all over goodreads lately - I would be happy to read it with you!

9. Captain America: We've both read about Lord Ian, but haven't read Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage by Jennifer Ashley yet. I would be happy to read this one with you too! And I just have to suggest as a feel-good romance Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis. I've read this one though and will be reading the fifth in the series At Last in August. So not quite a buddy read...

Woo Hoo, I can't wait to read Redshirts by John Scalzi and it totally qualifies for the bonus geek points since it is based in the Star Trek universe!

message 160: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (last edited Jul 29, 2012 01:53PM) (new)

~KarenH~ | 11343 comments Hi Lexa, here are your picks!

1. Superman:
Pride and Prejudice - I read this for the first time last month, and really enjoyed it.
Faith & Fidelity - It doesn't look like you've read any M/M and it may be out of your comfort zone, but if you're willing to give it a try, this is a good place to start.

2. Green Lantern:
Forever and a Day or
Angel's Peak - continuations of two series you seem to really enjoy.

3. Batman:
Shadow Game - The first book in the GhostWalker series by Christine Feehan has a VERY brainy heroine
The Help - On your TBR, I loved this book so much and recommend it whenever possible.

4. Wolverine:
Water for Elephants - Another absolute favorite of mine.
Out of Time - A fun time-travel romance with an over 40 hero.

5. The Hulk:
No Place to Run - You liked the first book, so why not continue the series?
Simply Love - Nobody does emotional, gut-wrenching romance like Catherine Anderson...

6. Wonder Woman:
Immortal in Death - I don't think there is a more kick-ass heroine anywhere than Eve Dallas
First Drop of Crimson - Cat's friend Denise really struts her stuff in this Night Huntress spin-off

7. Thor:
The Perfect Play (Play by Play, #1) by Jaci Burton Need I say more? ;)

BUDDY READS:

8. Spider-man:
Second Grave on the Left - I read and enjoyed the first book quite a while ago, and have been looking for an excuse to get back to the series.
Wild Heat - Just got this from the library a couple of days ago, and I'm anxious to read it.

9. Captain America:
Again the Magic - You've read the first two books in Lisa Kleypas' Wallflowers series - this is the prequel.

Let me know if you are interested in doing a buddy read this month. Hope you find something you like!

6. Wonder Woman: Magic Strikes Can't get much more kickass than Kate!
7. Thor: Hot Head Hot cover. Hot men. Hot lovin'.

BUDDY READS:

Hope you can find something you like!

message 162: by Pollyanna (new)

Pollyanna (polly8) | 300 comments Hey Cathy C here are your picks:

1. Superman Dracula by Bram Stoker I thought this might be a classic that would interest you as you seem to like paranormal.

2. Green Lantern Love Me to Death by Allison Brennan An author you seem to really like so thought you could start the Lucy Kincaid series.

3. Batman Changeless by Gail Carriger You liked the first one so thought you might like to continue with this one.

4.Wolverine Darkly Dreaming Dexterby Jeff Lindsay I enjoyed this book and thought you might, a real anti-hero but at the same time you kinda root for him too.

5. The Hulk The Pact by Jodi Picoult I haven't read this one but I find Picoult quite intense and this has been on your tbr for quite a while.

6. Wonder Woman Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton I see you've read some of the Meredith Gentry books, I thought you might like Anita Blake, she is one of my favourite tough chicks.

7. Thor Masked by Moonlight by Nancy Gideon you had so many steamy covers to choose from but I went with this.

Buddy Reads

8.Spider Man Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy I've been trying to get through Fifty Shades of Grey so I'm hoping this is better.

9. Captain America All Different Kinds of Free by Jessica McCann Had a look through your historical shelf and added this as it sounds pretty interesting.

Hope you find something here :)

2. Green Lantern: It looks like you’ve Singh is a favorite author that you’re reading; from your TBR http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/63...

3. Batman: From your TBR list, a brooding paranormal investigator (I haven’t read this one, but it looks good) http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/70...

4. Wolverine: I just read this fun retelling of the Cinderella story with an anti-hero and animals: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/69... or

6. Wonder Woman: Well, I’m sure that you’ve heard about this one, but http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/52... has a truly strong female character (note disturbing violence).

7. Thor: From your TBR, I haven’t read these, but the covers are certainly hot http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 741 comments Breann I had a great time looking through your shelves! Lots of great books on there :) I hope you like what I picked for you.

1. Superman: The first big comic book superhero who spawned many more! Recommend a classic or a book from a genre new to your pickee. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier is my all time favorite book and it's definitely a classic.

2. Green Lantern: Recommend a book from their TBR that's next in series or from author they've enjoyed. It looks like you're just a bit behind me in reading the in Death series by JD Robb, so why don't you go ahead and read Holiday in Death. There's an amazingly sweet (and cute) scene between Roarke and Eve playing in the snow.

3. Batman: Dark brooding superhero - WIN! And the superhero without any true superpowers - just brains! Recommend a book with a brainy lead or a book from their TBR that you loved. You have 2 books on your TBR that I have absolutely loved and are on my favorite list...The Secret by Julie Garwood and Wild Card by Lora Leigh.

4. Wolverine: (Mutant superhero anti-hero; favorite mutant from X-men) Recommend a book with an anti-hero or a book with animals in it (or on the cover!) or a book with a hero over 40 years. Since you've read all the books with Immortals that I would have rec'd LOL, I decided to go with the animal part of the requirement. You have Seduce Me at Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas on your TBR and I think Beatrix has some kind of animal in it (she usually does LOL), but if not, read the 3rd in the series, Tempt Me at Twilight. Beatrix has a pet ferret that is running loose in the hotel :)

5. The Hulk: (Superhero who transforms when angry or emotional)Recommend an emotional or an intense book. The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton is one of the most emotional books I've ever read. I remember reading it while I was at work (I teach PreK) and one of my co-workers coming in my classroom to ask if I was alright because I was sobbing so hard

6. Wonder Woman: (World's most well-known female superhero!) Recommend a book with a strong (and I mean, really strong) kick-ass, female lead. I've heard Mercy Thompson is a kick-ass heroine, so you could read Bone Crossed. Or, since you seem to like Jennifer Ashley's historical romances, you could try her kick-ass heroine in Stormwalker, which is under her penname Allyson James.

7. Thor:(Norse god superhero acted by the super hot Chris Hemsworth ;)) Recommend a book with a steamy cover.Taking a Shot by Jaci Burton. All her covers for this series have been very steamy. So have the stories LOL

BUDDY READS:

Please Note: The buddy read recommendations are NOT optional. If you cannot do the buddy read, you must still recommend these, just let the person you are picking from that you won't be able to do read with them.
I'm willing to do any of these with you if you have time and you would like to. Just let me know if that's what you choose

8. Spider-man: The most relatable superhero with the famous line: "with great power there must also come great responsibility". Recommend a book from their TBR that you are itching to read. Bonus points if the main character is a geek.Bared to You by Sylvia Day. I read one of her other books not too long ago and loved it

9. Captain America: Select a historical book or a feel-good romance. A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare. It's on my TBR and I haven't tried anything by her before

I am going to read Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley and Unleased by Cherrie Lynn. I would like to try to read
Divergent by Veronica Roth.

I like both of your buddy read picks. It is hard to choose between them. But I decided I would like to read It Happened One Autumn by Lisa Kleypas.

Thanks for the great recs Isabella. I think I'm going to go with The Last Mermaid... Shana Abe is a new author for me but I keep hearing great things so this is a perfect chance to give her a go.

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Ok Sue, I have finally come up with a list for you. Our tastes are so similar that this should have been easy, but every rec I initially came up with were already on your 'read' shelf. Meanwhile, of the 7 picks I made from your TBR, I've only read two. Lol, lets hope I came up with something good for you. Here we go...

1. Superman: A classic sci-fi from your TBR, Dune and a classic fantasy that should be right up your alley, A Game of Thrones. If you'd rather try something completely different, how about a new genre. Warrior's Cross is a m/m romantic suspense (not erotica) and a great read.
Dune (Dune Chronicles, #1) by Frank HerbertA Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. MartinWarrior's Cross by Abigail Roux

2. Green Lantern:
From an author you've enjoyed, Angels of Darkness and a series you've enjoyed, Serpent's Kiss
Angels of Darkness by Ilona AndrewsSerpent's Kiss (Elder Races, #3) by Thea Harrison

3. Batman:
I absolutely love the In Death series and I see you have Vengeance in Death on your tbr to read next in the series. Keep going! Or try a new fav of mine, A Discovery of Witches, a wonder book with two brainy leads :)
Vengeance in Death (In Death, #6) by J.D. RobbA Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness

4. Wolverine:
I guess an assassin would be considered an anti-hero... The Way of Shadows would work from your tbr. Or, the hero in Lord of the Fading Lands is way over 40 years old, and the trilogy was great!
The Way of Shadows (Night Angel, #1) by Brent WeeksLord of the Fading Lands (Tairen Soul, #1) by C.L. Wilson

5. The Hulk:
You can't get more emotional or intense than Les Misérables and it's on your tbr. If you'd rather not invest in all those pages give either Cry No More or The Darkest Hour a try. Two very different, but very good and very emotional books.
Les Misérables by Victor HugoCry No More by Linda HowardThe Darkest Hour (KGI, #1) by Maya Banks

6. Wonder Woman:
I see you also like Laurell K Hamilton's work and from what I understand, Anita Blake is pretty 'kick-ass'. I think Skin Trade is next on your list. Raphael is the first book in a series I recently discovered and love! It's female lead is definitely a strong, kick-ass woman, and she has to be in order to stand up to a strong Uber Alpha Male
Skin Trade (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #17) by Laurell K. HamiltonRaphael (Vampires in America, #1) by D.B. Reynolds

7. Thor:
Ok, so Hammered may not have a very steamy cover, but it does deal with Norse gods and a hot druid, so it'll work. Just to appease the need for eye candy however, try Double Play, it's also a great read.
Hammered (Iron Druid Chronicles, #3) by Kevin HearneDouble Play (Pacific Heat, #1) by Jill Shalvis

BUDDY READS

8. Spider-Man:
I may not get extra geek points, but Desire by Amanda Quick looked so good that I already put it on my TBR. I'm not sure I'll have the time to read it this month however.

9. Captain America: I will be reading Imagine for another challenge however, if you'd like to join me for that. It even has a Red, White & Blue cover :)
Desire by Amanda Quick Imagine by Jill Barnett

I hope you find something in this pile of books you'll enjoy reading, if not I still have a list of books I forced myself to exclude. Let me know :)

HAPPY READING!!!

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Vi, sorry for the delay. I know it's fairly heavy in the SF and PNR selections, but there's a contemporary and a historical in there too. as always, if there is nothing that appeals, let me know and I'll try again.

1. Superman: You haven't read anything from the truly weird. I'll give you a couple of choices here. Read either John Dies at the End or Help! a Bear Is Eating Me!. Truly a bit of the absurd here.

2. Green Lantern: Hammered - still a great series.

3. Batman: Dark brooding superhero - Nerd in Shining Armor Really liked the whole series. Light and fun contemporary.

4. Wolverine: You want anti-heroes? George R.R. Martin's work is full of them. Read the next Game of Thrones book, A Clash of Kings.

5. The Hulk: I just don't know what to recommend. I know I shed a tear at one particular place in this book. It is a worldwide phenomenon which you will likely enjoy a great deal. Read The Hunger Games.

6. Wonder Woman: Read the next Janine Frost book. Cat is certainly one kick ass heroine. This Side of the Grave

7. Thor:We all have different definitions as to what is a 'hot' cover. I recommend you read Dune. I think a desert planet with no free water is pretty hot. Besides, this has been sitting on your TBR for some time now. Even if you don't red it for this, READ IT.

BUDDY READS:

8. Spider-man: I have read this many times. I will read it many more. A must read for one and all! The Little Prince

9. Captain America: Keegan's Lady - Many know my hatred of most historicals. But I'm already planning on reading this this month for another group. You seem to have enjoyed other books by her as well.

Hammered (Iron Druid Chronicles, #3) by Kevin Hearne Keegan's Lady by Catherine Anderson John Dies at the End by David Wong Help! a Bear Is Eating Me! by Mykle Hansen The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Nerd in Shining Armor (Nerds, #1) by Vicki Lewis Thompson This Side of the Grave (Night Huntress, #5) by Jeaniene Frost A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2) by George R.R. Martin Dune The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins

Hey Leslie! Her are my picks for you! I hope you enjoy them. Ironically I am watching Captain America While I make these.... lol

1. Superman:

The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen. I know that it is not technically a classic but it is one in my book. I loved it, it was just one of those feel good books that leaves you smiling. The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. A great classic. I actually first read it in my Lit class in High School.
The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood

2. Green Lantern:

One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. I noticed that you enjoyed the first book and I must say the series gets even better as it goes!
One Foot in the Grave (Night Huntress, #2) by Jeaniene Frost

Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh. This book falls under both categories. It is the next step in a series and its also from an author you have enjoyed. The next one #4 in the series is my favorite. So read this one so that way you can get to that one.
Archangel's Consort (Guild Hunter, #3) by Nalini Singh

3. Batman:

Sex, Murder And A Double Latte (A Sophie Katz Murder Mystery #1)by Kyra Davis. I absolutely LOVE this series. It is about a writer who gets herself mixed up in a crime. Of course because she is brilliant she helps solve the mystery. With the help of a very sexy male lead.
Sex, Murder And A Double Latte (A Sophie Katz Murder Mystery #1) by Kyra Davis

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. This book is on your TBR list and is definantly worth reading. I gave it 4 stars and I am tough critic.
Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead

4. Wolverine:

Knight by Kristen Ashley. He is a pimp but you just have to love him anyways. On a different note I strongly recommend Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley. It does not fall under this genre but I believe that you will enjoy it.
Knight (Unfinished Hero, #1) by Kristen Ashley

Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs. Hmmmm do shifters count under the animal category? I am going to say yes. This is my favorite Patrica Briggs series. I think it is better then the Mercedes Thompson one.
Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1) by Patricia Briggs

5. The Hulk:

The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. I cried like a baby. Please dont judge the book by the movie. The movie is a terrible representation of a great book.
The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

Stealing Shadows by Kay Hooper. Very intense, it had me on pins and needles until the very end.
Stealing Shadows (Shadows, #1) (Bishop/Special Crimes Unit, #1) by Kay Hooper

6. Wonder Woman:

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. So she kills people... That doesn't make her any less cool!
Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Rose is the best! By the way you need to read all the Vampire Academy books before reading Bloodlines. I am glad I caught that. Bloodlines is a spin off of the Vampire Academy and would actually be a bit confusing to a person who has not read the Vampire Academy books first.
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead

7. Thor:

The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton. not my favorite book, I gave it 3 stars but the cover is so worth looking at.
The Perfect Play (Play by Play, #1) by Jaci Burton

BUDDY READS:
I would love to do a buddy read with you if you are game.

8. Spider-man:

The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. I have been meaning to read this book for awhile. Now I will have the proper motivation.
The Iron King (The Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa

9. Captain America:

Prisoner of My Desire by Lindsey, Johanna. It's sort of historical... lol if you have any other suggestions for this category I am open to anything.
Prisoner of My Desire by Johanna Lindsey

Enjoy!!

Joyce (eternity21) | 739 comments Hi Elke,

I hope you like your picks. I stayed within your TBR read list and included one on your read next list

August PIFM

1. Superman: The Host This was on your TBR list but it is not like the rest of them on the list. It is more sci-fi than you usually read. I did enjoy it when I read it.

2. Green Lantern: Four to Score I noticed this is the next in the Stephanie Plum series that you have not read yet. I am just getting into this series and am really loving it.

3. Batman: Night Pleasures I really loved this book. This one really begins the dark hunters series even though it is the second.

4. Wolverine: Generations: Book of Enlightenment Hey it involves wolves and has a wolf on the cover.

5. The Hulk: Dream Lake According to the write up it is emotional and romantic.

6. Wonder Woman: First Grave on the Right

7. Thor: A Little Harmless Submission (Harmless, #6) by Melissa Schroeder There were a couple of nice steamy covers but I liked this the best.

BUDDY READS:

8. Spider-man: The Hunger Games This is a book I have been wanting to read. I saw the movie but I've been told I just have to read the books. I would love to read it with you.

9. Captain America: How to Marry a Duke Since I don't really like historicals any more ( I think I just burned out on them )I would not be reading this with you.

How to Marry a Duke (How To Series #1) by Vicky Dreiling Dream Lake (Friday Harbor, #3) by Lisa Kleypas The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins Four to Score by Janet Evanovich First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, #2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon The Host (The Host, #1) by Stephenie Meyer A Little Harmless Submission (Harmless, #6) by Melissa Schroeder Generations Book of Enlightenment (Generations Saga, #1) by Mia Castile

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Christina,
Here is your list. I tried to pick ones I thought you would like -some from your TBR list, and some that I liked and thought you would like, based on what you have read and rated highly. If you don't see any thing you really like, let me know and I will find more titles for you!

1. Superman: Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier – classic; one new to you: Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman

2. Green Lantern: Heart of Atlantis (Warriors of Poseidon #8 by Alyssa Day; The Chesapeake series by Nora Roberts is very good – I noticed you like her books, and these are quite good: Sea Swept #1; Rising Tides #2; Inner Harbor#3; Chesapeake Blue #4

3. Batman: The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie – Alan Bradley (This one has a great, very smart little girl who is the main character. In my opinion, it is a fabulous series.) Another one with a smart protagonist, that I read recently and just loved: The Earth Hums in B Flat by Mari Strachan

4. Wolverine: Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld (for animals – great animals, as a matter of fact) This is the first one of the series and they are all good. Hero over 40 years old – Noah’s Compass by Anne Tyler (I really liked this one because it is a character-driven story.)

5. The Hulk: Watermelon by Marian Keyes (really good one, definitely emotionally intense but also funny and romantic); And One Last Thing by Molly Harper (intense? oh, yes! Emotional, double yes!! And very funny!)

6. Wonder Woman: Born of Fury (The League #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon or Divergent by Veronica Roth

7. Thor: Series by Victoria Dahl: Good Girls Don’t (#1); Bad Boys Do (#2); Real Men Will (#3) Steamy reads, although the covers don’t show as much of the ‘heat’ as there is between the covers!! Another steamy choice, both cover and story: French Quarter (#1 in the Hot in the City series) by Lacey Alexander

BUDDY READS:

8. Spider-man: Wicked Business by Janet Evanovich (I noticed you read the first one in this series, and I am eager to read this second one.)

9. Captain America: Romance: Some Like It Hot by Louisa Edwards (also qualifies as a steamy cover!); Historical: Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford

I am willing to do any of these Buddy Reads with you, although I have to get a copy of the Evanovich one (and am willing to do that - will just need a couple of days to get it). Let me know if you want to read any of these with me.

Happy Reading!
