****This should do it for me this season. As always thanks so much to everyone that participates in the SRC and especially to our dedicated and hard working moderators. Thanks so much Sandy, dlmrose and Kristi.
In anticipation of the summer challenge I set 4 goals for myself.
1. Finish the challenge - check.
2. Stay off of what I call the "Wall of Shame" - oops I made it once. Sorry Sandy.
3. Read at least 20 books by authors that are brand new to me. I more than doubled this goal.
New authors to me were: Michael Robotham, David Grann, Kathleen Ernst, Anthea Fraser, Leslie Meier, Thomas Mann, Tea Obreht, Linda Castillo, Thomas Perry, George D. Sherman, Suzi Parron, Patrick deWitt, Charles Finch, Peter Robinson, Josh Bazell, Al Roker, William Landay, Ed McBain, Wallace Stroby, Daniel H. Wilson, Boyd Morrison, Jon Talton, Tim O'Brien, Linwood Barclay, Beverly Lewis, William Kent Krueger, Lauren Willig, Raymond Chandler, Imogen Robertson, Jack Higgins, Christopher Golden, Rochelle Krich, Alan Dean Foster, Ben Coes, Jussi Adler-Olsen, Camilla Lackberg, Ekaterina Gordeava, Henning Mankell, Taylor Stevens, Charles Cumming, Alex Berenson = 41 new to me authors.
Out of this group I would say my favorites were Linda Castillo, Peter Robinson, William Kent Krueger, Camilla Lackberg and Jussi Adler-Olsen
My favorite book this season without a doubt was Keeper of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen. I can't wait for his next book to be translated and published in English in August.
4. Listen to at least 15 audiobooks - done. I listen to audiobooks all the time. If the book is available in large print from the library I read those and listen to the audiobook.

I read The Member of the Wedding by Carson McCullers.
