I live in the US, and the two continents I read from are Asia and South America.

A. Beg - I got a recommendation from my mom (who is also a Goodreads friend of mine). I read Ghost Train to the Eastern Star by Paul Theroux. The book is non-fiction about Theroux's train trip throughout the continent of Asia.

**At 512 pages, this is a BIG BOOK, worth one ticket.**

B. Borrow - I borrowed a book from the library. I read The War of Don Emmanuel's Nether Parts by Louis de Bernieres, which is set in South America.

3. Campfire

I read Secret Daughter: A Novel by Shilpi Somaya Gowda

My mother read this last year and liked it so much that she requested it for her book club this year. When I went to visit her in July she handed it to me and said you need to read this. I can't say that I liked it as well as she did but I understand why she thought it would be good for the book club. Also when you look at the page for this book on Goodreads many other book clubs agree with her.

20.2 School's Out For Summer
Otion 2 Objects of My Affection: A Novel by Jill Smolenski
This book applies because main character begins a new career home organizing. She's acquired her first job working for an eccentric old lady wishing to organize her seriously hoard-filled home. Significance - Much of the story takes place in the messy home and is written around the idea of what a woman who keeps everything and a woman with ties to nothing can learn from each other.
