Kim Peek | 9 comments I am Kim,

I love books, all kinds of books. I have read erotic fantasy before and have like it, but my daughter actually got me into this group. I am also a gamer from way back. Right now I am looking forward to getting Skyrim and Dragon Age 2.

Really like your guys videos. They are not only informative, but very entertaining.

Chrissie Edden (chrissieedden) | 1 comments Hi, I'm Chrissie,

I'm 24 and from the UK. I have never read any erotic fantasy before, no idea why... I think I will love this genre! So I downloaded Kushiel's Dart to my smartphone (I'm not allowed to buy any more hard copies, I have filled a room). I am a gamer as well as a literature geek so I hope I have lots in common with this group.

Now to buy a giant wine glass...

Rasnac | 13 comments Hello, I'm an art historian, occasional art writer and a nerd who enjoys fantasy, sci-fi, and historical genres. I'm watching VF since it's first started and wanted to be part of the community. I'll be honest with you I don't read those vaginal fantasy, or fantastical romance books in discussion and I don't think I'll ever do; but I enjoy watching smart discussion between great intellectuals even if the subject in question is not an a particular interest of mine. So, I'll keep watching and now I'll also read forums. I might even write a comment once or twice :)

Amy | 33 comments Hi, I'm Amy. I'm a psychologist at a university in North Carolina. I do research and teach, but am not a clinician :) I found Goodreads through a friend and the Vaginal Fantasy Group through seeing Felicia on Goodreads. I just discovered Geek & Sundry and The Guild, but I've been a fan of speculative fiction since I could read. I love fantasy, particularly urban fantasy these days. I haven't read a lot of epic fantasy lately, but I now have Tigana, Kusiel's Dart, and Game of Thrones in my TBR list. I've also been reading romances since I was a teen - an early teen - and have recently rediscovered some good historical romance authors. So VF seemed like a great fit. Given my profession, I don't see a lot of people who have similar tastes in books. I'm really loving this group so far.

Katherine (sandrakay) | 9 comments I'm Katherine and have recently started reading more fantasy related books. I saw that you are reading Kushiel's Dart. I love that book and am planning to read the whole series. I am also a fan of The Guild series. I look forward to getting some suggestions on other great books.

Amy Kinard (strangemodegirl) Finally popping in to introduce myself. I'm Amy, I am not working due to health issues, so I am home most of the time. I have been a book nerd most of my life.
Books, comics and music. Been collecting records for over 25 years. I love just about all things Joss Whedon, Marvel comics, Star Wars and Lovecraft.
I don't watch much tv, but I do have a few favorites, Supernatural, Downton Abbey, Hell On Wheels and have totally fallen for Grimm.
I read just about anything, urban fantasy is a favorite.
Neil Gaiman, Charles deLint, Jim Butcher, Diana Gabaldon and many, many more.

I sew and have a shop on Etsy selling dog bandanas and am slowly working on getting my handmade patchwork quilts up to sell. I also host a small ladies sewing/crafting night every couple of weeks. We are definitely the nerdy anti-crafters though! Not very Mrtha Stewart like at all!

I have already read all the Black Jewels books so I am giving "Kushiel's Dart" a read. I just got it in the mail, so I need to get reading! I look forward to being around. I have never been in any sort of book club or group like this.

message 57: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly Chapman | 83 comments Oh I just noticed this thread! I'm new to Goodreads and this genre, so I've been reading lots of threads and occasionally commenting, mostly seeing what other people think.

I got really excited when someone told me about Felicia's hangouts because it turns out my hard-to-genre-define work definitely fits here. I had one fantasy-romance published in 2003 by small press and that whole deal went ugly. Then I wrote a speculative/police procedural/romance that Tor rejected only because of length, back before they were doing ebooks. Now I have a real-world superhero-romance coming out, and I realized there's one thing that keeps happening in my books regardless of other genres: the hot sex!

So now I've gone indie. I don't like the industry telling me I have to pick a genre between fantasy, scifi, and superheroes, and I put too much plot in for most romance publishers, but if my genre is vaginal fantasy, then maybe I've found a home?

After all, these stories start out as my own vaginal fantasies. I want the characters to think, feel, and do things that make me cry, laugh, and get all lusty. Lovemaking is part of life and I often get frustrated at mainstream books that bypass the good stuff, or worse, write it horribly.

My favourite stuff to read is anything with good, solid characters in a believable plot. I want to be able to fantasize about the character as written and have them come alive in my head. Guy Gavriel Kay was my first major early influence and I highly recommend his stuff. Right now I'm reading Bernard Cornwell's Richard Sharpe books and Mr. Sharpe is positively dreamy! I'm also a big fan of Terry Pratchett.

Pleased to virtually meet you all and I look forward to more stimulating discussion. ;D

Ehem.... once you give this information, it's rude to not give more details. ( like title, number of pages, date of release)

message 60: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (hidilley) Hi VF! I'm Heidi. Bookworm since early childhood, and love exploring new genres. Have always loved historical fiction and fantasy, and am really enjoying the pics from this group so far. The google hangouts are a blast & I love the different perspectives of the 4 lovely ladies. I'm also a gamer, wife, artist, photographer, musician and overall nerd about town.

Looking forward to the reads & discussions here! :)

message 61: by Lex (new)

Lex Write | 1 comments Hey, I'm Alexandra. I love reading and am really into just about every type but thanks to this group am just getting into the more smutty side of fantasy and science fiction, quite fun.

I am an English major focusing on Creative Writing so books make up a large part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. My favorite authors change constantly but the ones that have remained constant are Neil Gaiman, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Kate Morton, and Salman Rushdie.

I just joined the group but have read almost all the books that were previously discussed. I have liked or loved just about all of them. I especially liked "Ill Wind" (reading that was also one of the reasons why I joined this group.)

Can't wait to discuss this month's book selections. I liked both of them.

message 62: by Erin L (new)

Erin L (wellreadmoose) Hi everyone. I'm Erin. Do I need to say that I love reading since I'm a goodreads member and all? I'm pretty sure my love of Fantasy started with Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. From that, Neil Gaiman, Patricia Briggs and Jim Butcher brought me into Urban Fantasy. I've also even been making some forays into sci-fi and I wonder why it took so long.

message 63: by Dianne (new)

Dianne | 1 comments Hi ya'll. I'm Dianne. I love reading Fantasy, SciFi and Fiction. My favorite author is Laurell K. Hamilton. I have read both her Anita Blake and Merideth Gentry books. I am also a gamer girl, World of Warcraft and Star Wars the Old Republic. I have seen every episode of Felicia Day's The Guild.

message 64: by Amy (new)

Amy | 5 comments Hey everyone! I figured I'd post this here since I assume that in addition to longtime vag fantasy readers, there's high crossover within our group with fans of web series and fans of more traditional romance novels. Including more "classical" romances like Jane Austen. There wasn't really another thread in which this was appropriate so I thought I'd share it here.

Because Hangouts happen but once a month, I wanted to share my other favorite web-based/romancey- but not THAT kind of romancey- entertainment. It's a youtube series called The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
It is, obviously, a modern day interpretation of Pride and Prejudice told, up to this point (episode 22) mostly by Lizzie, Jane, Charlotte (who does the camera work),Lydia, and the webcam Lizzie has on the computer in her bedroom. The episodes are like, 3 minutes apiece and it's really well done. They definitely find their feet after the first couple of episodes. Lizzie and Charlotte are in grad school, Jane works a poor-paying job in fashion, and Lydia ("We're all very proud she's now too old to be on any reality shows about having babies in high school") is the only younger sister. Mary and Kitty, aka the Merry and Pippin of P&P, don't exist, and you don't actually miss them.

What has impressed me most is that this is the first version of P&P in which I actually enjoy Lydia. I've never liked Lydia, not in reading the book, not in any of the many, many interpretations since (and I've seen them ALL, including the Bollywood version, Bride and Prejudice. Oh God....). Well, I might have liked her in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but they did give her a sword.... Anyway, I bring it up not just because I think the series is awesome and funny and many group members will like it, but also for any of you guys that are going to be attending vidcon for the Vag Fantasy panel- because there's also going to be a panel on the Lizzie Bennet Diaries and you should check it out. Because if I weren't in St. Louis, I'd totally be going. But I can't because...St. Louis.

message 65: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Hi all, I'm Lee! I'm 26 and living in Florida. I love reading any kind of book, but I have a special spot for YA. I'm a big fan of Felicia Day, that's how I originally found this group. I'm a gamer and like to play World of Warcraft when I have free time, which is becoming less and less often. I hope I'll have a chance to talk to more of you in the future. ^_^

message 66: by Beverly (new)

Beverly Forster | 17 comments Hi, I'm Bev, 35 years old (attempting to ignore the fact that I'll soon be 36, failing miserably), and I'm north east England. I've just finished a part time degree and am trying to find a way to fund postgrad study as my salary won't exactly stretch that far. Admin/office work pays the rent.

My love of fantasy started with Alice in Wonderland and progressed to Anne Rice in my teenage years via a detour in classic English literature. For the past few years I've been drawn in to urban fantasy by way of Kelley Armstrong, Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison and the like. I've tended to stay away from anything too typical of the romance genre due to the inherent sexism but am very happy to find that not all romance related writers fall into this trap.

What I really love in a book and admire in authors is believable world building and the ability to create their own mythology with good solid characters who develop and evolve through a series.

I think I'll have to stick to watching the hangouts via youtube as they're something like 1am GMT. Must head off now, my kindle awaits!

message 67: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (TabbieTales) | 0 comments Hey everyone! I'm Amanda.
I'm 24 this July and I just moved to Dallas at the start of the year with my boyfriend, Chad.
I used to hate reading when I was younger. I had/have a learning disability and the school I went to didn't make it a priority with the whole "no one gets left behind" concept that my 8th grade English teacher took in Oklahoma. I think it is because of her and HUGELY because of the first Harry Potter film that I began to read. And discover my inner nerd/geek. From there I discovered anime and manga, pirated animes with fan subs, to fanfiction, and gaming. It was through my boyfriends guild on WoW that I heard of "The Guild", while Chad never really got into it, I adored it. Felicia Day became someone for me to aspire to be like. In the sense that I didn't feel like I had to be embarrassed when I said I am a freak over Harry Potter and that my childhood ended with the last film (I bawled like someone really died from the moment the trailers ended...along with 75% of the audience)Anyway, I loved The Guild, and but didn't follow it too closely. and it was a couple years later that I rediscovered it again on Netflix. I watched it twice in a weekend. Then I began following Day on Youtube. Then through there I discovered the first 3 episodes of VF. Then goodreads.
So now I've been a member of the group for a little over a month or two and this is the first time I've attempted to be active within the group. I love the books chosen, and the conversations over there live streams on G+.
Ladies you are all an inspiration to me. You all reflect an aspect of my personality and interests that I have never openly pursued.
Thank you for everything you do, and for giving me something to look forward every month that I can call my own in a way.

KC Ryan (kc_ryan) | 51 comments I'm KC and I joined VF and S&L...last month? I can't remember. Really enjoying the discussions made by the core four and the members of the forums. Everyone is so opinionated and respectful, which is great for any group. :)

message 69: by Amber Dawn (new)

Amber Dawn (ginger_bug) | 147 comments I'm Amber. I live in Seattle. Trained as a librarian, working as a customer service rep. Got into Felicia Day's work through the Guild (my best friend played WOW for a while and I was skeptical when she told me to watch it.. but it was soo good!) and read a lot of this kind of stuff anyway so joining was a no brainer. I like board games, card games, video games, science fiction & fantasy, books (obviously) cats, sewing, hiking, music.

message 70: by Angela (new)

Angela (happi_fishyahoocom) | 7 comments Hey! I'm Angela and I've been a lurker for awhile, but am going to start reading along this month. I've never read any of these smut style books before. I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan (He hooked me with Neverwhere) and I'm also really into the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix. I'm a gamer and discovered Felicia Day through watching The Guild. I think she's a fantastic "poster girl" for us gamer/dorky girls - lol. I'm looking forward to getting to know people here and to join in on the fun. :D

message 71: by Jeanne (new)

Jeanne (fangirljeanne) Hi, Jeanne here.

I'm a big ol' nerd. I read in just about ever genre. I love comic books too. I've been reading a lot of romance and erotica lately. So I was very excited to find the Vaginal Fantasy vids on YouTube and I love the look of the forum.

I'm looking forward to get book recs and meeting other nerdy types.

message 72: by David (new)

David Magee (daveydavinci) | 5 comments Aaah, I've been looking for an active book club for a while. Huzzah for this.

I'm David. I haven't read much in the way of romance--no aversion to the genre, obviously, I just didn't know of an interesting way to delve in. I'm going to start a month behind, with Kushiel's Dart, as it seems like the most interesting book to me out of the ones that have been covered so far. Pretty jazzed to dive in :D

Feel free to message/friend me, I'd love some awesome sci-fi or fantasy recommendations. They don't even have to be romance/erotic fiction.

message 73: by Connie S (new)

Connie S | 4 comments Hello all I'm Connie, I stumbled onto Felicia Day thanks to Dragon Age 2 and have been a fan of anything she does ever since and that's why I joined. As a kid I was sort of forced into reading by my dad who made my brothers and me read books over the summer and write book reports. At the time it felt like he seriously hated anyone having a little bit of fun but in retrospect I'm glad he did it because now I love to read. I don't really have a preference in genre as long as it's got a good story I will read it. Lately though thanks to VF I have been reading a lot of romance. I'm also a gamer.

message 74: by Ruth (new)

Ruth Madison (ruthmadison) | 2 comments I'm Ruth and I'm 30.

It took me a while to admit that I like romances (or, as I say to people, I like "love stories.")

I've always been a geeky girl and I discovered Felicia Day in Dr. Horrible and then The Guild.

Having trouble finding the sorts of romances I wanted to read, I started writing them (this was about fifteen years ago now). So I'm also a romance author. Almost finished with my first science fiction romance!

Need to be writing instead of playing Diablo. :P

message 75: by Raelene (new)

Raelene Hiya, I am Raelene. I live in Tucson, AZ, with a dog, a cat, and over 500 books. I have actually been reading along for the past month but finally decided to officially join to check off an achievement for a summer reading program.

I knew this was a group for me when I saw the ladies drinking the wine. It reminded me of when my bestie and I would meet up for dinner and drinks and discuss the latest books we have read before she moved.

On the more mundane level I am an EMT and just got my fire certs so I can start applying as a firefighter.

message 76: by Megan (new)

Megan (marvelgirl22) Hello everyone! I am Megan, I live in Oregon. (Any other Oregonians?!?) I joined last month but too late to read Kushiel's Dart. I love the monthly stream, I really look forward to the next one. I have never read romance so I am enjoying being introduced to a new genre. I love sci-fi, fantasy, thrillers, and pretty much everything else.

message 77: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 27, 2012 04:10PM) (new)

Hello everyone. My name is also Megan and I'm an elementary education student living in (stupidly) hot and sunny Florida. I discovered Goodreads via StumbleUpon! and I have a tendency to automatically search for Felicia Day whenever I join a new social networking site because I've been an avid fan ever since I fist saw the Guild. I thought Vaginal Fantasy sounded ridiculous enough that I would fit right in! I've loved reading ever since Ocarina of Time taught me how (yes...I'm that awesome) and gobble up books like no one's business. I'm happy to meet everyone!

message 78: by Jon (new)

Jon | 91 comments Hi one and all, my names Jonathan and I discovered VF through a challenge, I was in hospital recently and one of the nurses saw me reading Catherine Millet which led to us talking genre fiction.
I'll admit to having certain prejudice's so Gemma challenged me to take a look at VF and approach it with an open mind.
It's been a revelation. I haven't enjoyed everything, but the majority have been an exciting eye opener.
I spent seven years working in London as a designer before moving to New Zealand for a year. Three years ago I became visually impaired so I moved back to the east coast of England.
Authors I adore include Jim Butcher, Deborah Harkness, Mark Del Franco and Jeaniene Frost.

message 79: by Kam (last edited Jul 02, 2012 12:19AM) (new)

Kam (kam_martinez) | 6 comments Hello! My name's Kam, and I'm sliding in over here from the Sword and Laser group, which should probably tell you quite a bit about the kind of books I love to read: sci-fi, fantasy, but also historical novels and non-fiction, too, with a smidge of horror when I can get it. I joined this group because I needed someplace for my love of romance novels, and since Veronica mentioned this group a few times on the S&L podcast, I figured I'd check it out, and join up!

Since of you folks seem to have mentioned your "reading histories," so to speak, I'd like to tell a bit of mine. I got into reading because of my mother - without her, I wouldn't have picked up the reading habit as enthusiastically as I did. My mother didn't censor much of my reading, so I was often reading books higher than my grade level - this is where the science fiction and fantasy come in. The only attempt at censorship she ever did was to steer me away from romance novels, but only briefly: she said I could read them when I was older. Sixteen was deemed to be old enough, and I was on the genre like white on rice. I have a soft spot for paranormal and historical romance, and I'm currently trying to look for a romance novel set in Italy during the Borgia era. Not having much luck there, unfortunately, but I'm sure I'll come across one someday.

Aside from reading, though, I also play video games - have been a girl gamer since I was twelve. I'm very heavy into the RPGs: Dragon Age, Skyrim, and I've got my sights set on Mass Effect 3. Also very into L.A. Noire - and really, what's not to like? Fedoras! Three-piece suits! Pinstripe! Everything a girl could possibly ask for in a video game.

Anyway, that'll be it for now, and hope to enjoy chatting with you people when work permits :D.

Nik (lunakaos) | 165 comments Hello, My Name is Nikki and I'm from Australia.
I've been watching the meet-ups on youtube for a few months then bought the last book Kushiels Dart towards the end of June so didn't finish it on time.
I bought this months book straight after the last video and it arrived today (so did my new kindle) so I will start it tonight.
I work full time at a mechanics doing customer relations and also create and sell online in my etsy shop. I have another etsy store opening soon based on a short story I wrote, I will make toys and jewellery etc based on the story.
I've been reading romance and horror books from an early age. I love graham masterton when I was at school and use to have to hide in the library to read them in my lunch break as I was still too young to be allowed to read them. I did however buy mills and boon books from the charity store at the same age.
Besides that I am obsessed with my DS, and keep collecting games for it. Though I mainly play Death Jr and Batman.
Always be yourself, unless you can be Batman, Always be Batman.
My online gaming has dropped off, I barely even play Fallen London now.

I'm a former Oregonian (Portland) but back in Washington now. I would suggest.. read Kushiel's Dart anyway, if you haven't yet. SO GOOD. That was actually the first VF hangout I've watched while it was happening... I have been catching up and checking out the previous books and watching (well, listening to) the older hangouts while I do data entry.

My mom started me on reading too. She was reading Heinlein and Marion Zimmer Bradley aloud to me when I was probably slightly too young to be reading it at all. I actually didn't get into reading much romance until recently.. my friend convinced me to read the first Sookie Stackhouse book and pretty soon I was all paranormal romance all the time (to the constant teasing of my boyfriend, who refers to them as my "busty vampire hunter" books, regardless of the fact that there's not even vampire hunting in most of them.) And.... Mass Effect 3! yes, yes yes! I am just about to start the final mission, maybe tomorrow. I'm terrible about putting off playing the ends of video games... I don't like them to be over..

Kimberly (lomara) | 24 comments I just realized I've never posted here before.

Hi, I'm Kimberly and I have never read anything of this genre before the Iron Duke/Souless books a few months ago. I saw the VF hangout and had to try reading a romance book at least once.

I normally read Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, and am now deep into A Dance With Dragons. past reads include Hunger Games and Harry Potter series. I bought a Nook device at Christmas, so my reading has increased tenfold. I'm trying to read 4 books at once right now. (The Magicians due to Sword & Laser, Jane Eyre, The Adventures of Sherlock holmes due to Stephen Moffat's series, and A Dance With Dragons). I will try to finish at least one of these books so I can add the next VF book to that list.

Thanks for doing this, Veronica, Felicia, Bonnie, and Kiala!

David I am David, my friends call me DJ, and I am in Garland, just outside Dallas proper. I am 47 years old I think, dont really keep track anymore. I joined VF for Silent in the Grave and have enjoyed several of the books, and in some cases, the whole series of some of the books reviewed here. It has also lead me to other books and authors I might not have given a chance. I primarily read Fantasy (Sci-Fi used to be my main stay until I found Piers Anthony and been hooked on fantasy mostly ever since) but I am enjoying the romantic fantasies quite a bit. Kushel's legacy Trilogy was an awesome read, but am taking a break before I read any more of them, for the moment.

Iwona (iwona_magdalena) | 1 comments Hello :) I'm Iwona from Poland.
I watched "The Guild" for a long time, and later, "Geek & Sundry", and somehow I found "Vaginal Fantasy". I love watching hangouts, you girls have amazing energy and power. I would like to create something like that in my country.
But I'm also disappointed - not all the novels that you read are published in Poland, and the originals are not always available. However, the publishing market is large, so I could miss something;)

I hope I did not write anything strange - I didn't practice english a lot lately ;)

Kait Gamble | 1 comments Hi VF! I'm Kait from the UK and I'm an incurably shy author, semi professional lurker and compulsive gamer. I found this group when Felicia mentioned it on the Flog. I thought 'Hey, a group with a name like that is bound to be awesome!' Glad to see I was right!

I will read just about anything but I do love SF and fantasy especially when there's some well written sexy times :)

Now to catch up on the reading...

I live in Atlanta and got to meet Felicia at Dragon*Con a couple of years ago. I'm super excited about this club, I was able to finally participate with Kushiel's Dart which is one of my favorite books! My Twitter is @amyelizabeth770, it's private, but as long as you don't appear to be a student, I'll follow you. :)

I'll read just about anything that's fantasy, sci-fi or romance related, so this is going to be pretty awesome.

Sarah (savrit) | 14 comments Hello everyone,
I'm Sarah. I work in a local used bookstore in Eugene Oregon, and a director in the community theater scene. I love to discover new books to read and I have a small network of friends here in town that share my love of books.

I have been subscribed to Felicia's YouTube feed for the past year due to my love of The Guild and the many other projects that she has been involved in. Since the new year I just recently went to her page and discovered the last 6 posts of Vaginal Fantasy discussions. Working on three shows back to back just ate up all me reading and internet time.

I was so excited because this is just the thing I miss being able to do with my girlfriends. I'm sharing this with as many of them as will be willing to take the time to check it out. I am even looking forward to going back and reading the past books that I have miss out on. Looking forward to seeing this next one in real time.

I read (and write) romance - especially historical and fantasy. Sometimes I like it hot, sometimes not.

I'm also a longtime gamer girl and general geek, yay! I love The Guild, I love MMO playing, and reading, and hanging out with my sweetie of 19 years (and yes, we met online, in the early days of the internet, on a BBS, lol).

Recently devoured Bujold's Sharing Knife series - loved it!

Ali | 5 comments Hi all! Ali from Florida. Found this gem of a book group and am crazy excited to participate. Vaginal fantasy, as it's now coined, is perhaps my favorite genre. Definitely try not to discriminate against any 'good book', but I'm often drawn to a strong female/male heroine/hero that's on a rollicking good adventure with a dash of potential or actual romance thrown in for measure. (Explicit or just a hint, doesn't matter!).

Books like Crown Duel, The False Princess, Poison Study Series, Graceling, Fire, The Black Jewels, The Demon King Series, Juliet Marillier books, etc. etc..

I just started Bitterblue, Grave Mercy, Froi of the Exiles, The Thief and Son of Ereubus if that's any indication! Clearly into the genre. Sometimes I just need to escape as I'm a workaholic so these books really let me release and escape in the pages..

Looking forward to talking to you all and getting some great recs! Cheers - Ali

I completley sympathise. I live in the tropical north queensland in australia, it never gets cold here and get humid as hell.

Julie (jooliea) | 8 comments Hi! I'm Julie, and I got hooked on the Vaginal Fantasy hangouts from the very first moment I started watching, but have only joined the forums right this second. I've actually NEVER read a romance novel before; my 'guilty pleasure/trashy book' read is usually stuff like Star Trek novels. Hoo boy have I read more of those than I'll admit.

My favorite author is Roger Zelazny, a man who somehow manages to weave fantasy and sci-fi together in amazing ways and forever captures my imagination.

I love sci-fi, I love fantasy, I love comedy.

I recently fell into a situation in which I was called on to edit/write miniature romance 'novels' for a game (long story) but suddenly realized that I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING, having never read one before!

But it was so daunting to try to figure out where to start, were I to begin reading romance novels, I never started at all.

UNTIL NOW. Thanks, Vaginal Fantasy. It's been a long time since I've really read, but I get the feeling I'll be slipping back into that wonderful pastime again.

And the hangouts - good lord. The LAUGHTER ir provokes. My husband just shakes his head.

I love it! Looking forward to all of this. :)

Jute | 238 comments Hi!

So what is a crotchety old lady doing here among all the bright young faces? I dunno... I could say I wandered in and lost myself here in the wit and camaraderie, but the truth is I've been a huge Felecia Day fan for awhile. The wittiness and other enjoyments here are unexpected pleasures!

I've always been a bit 'odd'. I played D&D way back in the beginning of the game when it came with three books in a boxed set. I love online gaming, I love reading and I've been a fan of fantasy and romance novels since my teen years.

I hope there is a place here for someone out of your age demographic. :)
