last night i finished reading "A VIRTUOUS WOMAN"BY KAYE GIBBONS"it did got better ,but i didn't see her virtuosity. It is the story about a young woman that all is given to her yet she settle for less than perfect relationship,it is almost like she doesn't value herself and never fall in love .

. Interesting so far."Paula: I am only about a third of the way through this book, but find the writing style just carries me away to the place and time. It flows so smoothly between Mary's past and present that there is almost no break in the reader's mind. I love that.
I am currently reading The Most Dangerous Thing I received it as a giveaway, and I'm really liking it!
I am also reading The Strange Case of Origami Yoda to my son
I am reading "Practical Magic" by Alice Hoffman; first one of hers I've read and not sure yet about her style.

Leadership by Devdutt Pattnaik.A book that teaches you what constitutes a great leader primarily in corporate world through various incidents in the Hindu Mythology.
I am currently reading Maria Duenas's The Time In Between and Alison Weir's The Wars of the Roses: Lancaster and York. I'm also sprinkling current reads with a bit of poetry from Federico Lorca's Collected Poems: A Bilingual Edition and The Complete Poems of John Keats xD
Islands in the Stream for our next local book club read.Just finished Wasteland of Flint, which I enjoyed immensely. I will definitely start the sequel this weekend.

I just started Dark Lover: The Life and Death of Rudolph Valentino- so far, so good. It was a Goodreads recommendation. I am loving that new feature on the site!
The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery - it's take me almost half book to finally got interested. I was thinking to quit reading (what's happening really seldom - only couple times and one of that was with Catch-22) But anyway, I made it to the second part and just before that I started comprehend this book (it didn't work with catch 22, but I couldn't even got to 1/3 of Catch)
Started and finished a play by John Galsworthy today -- Loyalties :: a drama in three acts / which is about a successful Jewish British businessman who accuses an acquaintance-- not Jewish, not successful, but upper class and a member of the same clubs-- of theft. Of course, since dueling is passee, it must be resolved in a defamation court case. The title stems from a theme found in the other characters-- other members of the clubs the pro- and antagonists belong to, who have reason to believe the accused is guilty but are reluctant to take the side of the Jew against one of their own.

Listening to Bossypants by Tina Fey. It's my first audiobook ever and my first autobiography ever. Apparently I'm trying new things this week...so far she hasn't cracked me up yet. Kind of hoping it gets better or else it goes back to the library...
The Naked Name of Love, a bit slow for now but it keeps getting close to nice descriptions, words....I just hope it will expends from 'almost' and getting near to that.
Alayna wrote: "Flora wrote: "I've just started I, Lucifer: Finally, the Other Side of the Story"i really want to read this book, let us know how you are liking it :)"
I really liked it. It was dripping with satire to say the least.
I'm currently half way thru The Witching Hour which has been really good so far.
Kyle wrote: "Scott wrote: "Finished The Strain, which I really enjoyed. Then I started Dead Man's Song."
Dead Man's Song is an excellent horror novel!"

The first two books were okay but I don't think I'll be reading the other two. Maybe if I had read this when I actually was a YA I would have a better attitude! LOL
