Have you read all 6 books in this series? Because I am in the middle of "The shelters of stone" (#5) and I am not enjoying it much at all! I hear the 6th one is even worse. So I was wondering if you had any thoughts about this and if you could advise me whether reading the 6th one is even worth my time? Thanks!

I enjoyed the first three but I've had books 4 and 5 sitting on the shelf for years (probably as long as it's taken for book 6 to be published). This series is a real commitment of time and I've just not felt I was ready to read 4 and 5.

Hey Jennifer, I didn't really like Simon and Derek at first especially Derek, wasn't sure if he was on Chloe's side. Simon seemed more friendly towards her and since they helped her at the end I'm getting to like them more
