Enjoying this book's fulsome character portrayals. Suburban life colored by grief, an eye opening portrayal. I just saw an audiobook giveaway on new york journal of books, could be a scintillating earful. Here's the link to win:

In fact, I'm going to try reading A Fine Balance next. Another book that I hear is just as superb as those two books. Did you ever read that? And, if you did, what did you think?

I noticed that too - some books works better when you read them, and some better when you listen them.
I was listening "The Book Thief and my mp3 was broken when about 100 pages before end. I started finishing book by reading and noticed how it was much harder accumulate this book by reading. I liked this book anyway, but listening was better
