:)pm her, maybe through up some YA's, Good Luck

Thanks for the recommendations! I have put Something About You on hold at the library, so as soon as it comes in, I'll let you know and we can read it together. I have also put Some Girls Bite on hold. It will be my first book on CD that I'm going to try. And if time permits, I'm gonna read the new BDB one, too.

Everything is done in this thread, but if you feel more comfortable PMing recs, please let me know so that person is not included in any re-mix (the night of April 2nd).
The goal is to get recommendations to anyone that wants recommendaitons
on a roll, with 73 recommendations given (YEAH!!) in 2 days, and another 2 days to go.

you, me and about 50 of our friends :o)
hopefully soon !

Friends : The Help by Kathryn Stockett - I can't tell you how many people recommended this book to me at my library! I finally read it to see what all the fuss was about & while the beginning was a bit difficult to get into, it was an incredibly well written book & a great portrait of life during that time. The movie is coming out this year, so read the book first! ;)
Romance : Vision in White by Nora Roberts - one of my favorite romance series of all time! It's happy, made me smile the whole way through & I absolutely adored the characters & relationships in the books. NR made me want to be a part of their world, businesses, & life.
Intense : The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - one of the most intense series I've ever read! A total page turner, I gift/recommend this series to everyone & anyone who will listen.
Emotions : Maybe This Time by Jennifer Crusie - it looks like we both enjoy Jennifer Crusie quite a bit, but I didn't see her latest on your shelves so I thought I'd recommend this one :) It's a good blend of mystery, romance, & comedy that we've come to expect from the fabulous Ms. Crusie!
New : It looks like you enjoy mysteries - have you read Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series? The first one is One for the Money & they are all hilarious!!! This is another one where the movie comes out this year, but you should definitely read the book first! :)
Don’t Forget : Don't forget to read The Darkest Lie by Gena Showalter especially because The Darkest Secret just came out! Fantastic paranormal series.
Support : Pack Challenge by Shelley Laurenston - I've had my eye on this one for a while, everyone who has read it, loved it. So, I'd be more than happy to read this one with you!
Bonus : The Four Ms. Bradwells: A Novel by Meg Waite Clayton - I saw this online somewhere today & thought it would be interesting. It's about 4 women & how their friendships last through just about anything life throws at them. Seeing as I adore my girlfriends, I thought it might be a good heartwarming read.

Here are your picks. I hope you find one that you will enjoy!
Friends: Flat-Out Sexy I was recommended this book in Feb challenge and I really enjoyed the story.
Romance: ..."
Thanks Kate. I think I will read either Kiss of Midnight or Torment.

Friends : The Help by Kathryn Stockett - I can't tell you how many people recommende..."
Thanks for some great recommendations! I've put "Vision in White" on hold at the library (I'm #5 in line), and I want to buy "Maybe This Time" when it comes out in paperback on April 26th. But to be sure I read one of the recommendations this month, I will read "The Darkest Lie" since I am anxious to be reading that series again!

Here are my picks for you. I hope you can find something interesting.
Friends: Fallen - This was recommended to me last month and I loved it.
Romance: Shiver - One of my favorites.
Intense: The Hunger Games - I love this entire series.
Emotions: The Adoration of Jenna Fox - Very thought provoking.

Don't Forget: Matched - Another first in a series - I really enjoyed this one, too.
Support: Radiant Shadows - I have been meaning to read this one. If you decide to read it let me know so I can join you.
Bonus: Summer Sisters - I haven't read this in a long time but it follows a close friendship over many years.
Enjoy!

I found it too hard choosing for you, not a single writer or a single book in common (except now 5 new books I added yesterday on my TBR :) ).
I spent all yesterday checking your Tbrs and came with this recommendation also based on books and authors you rated 5 stars. Hope you like it.
1-FRIENDS: I have 2 options one recommended by a friend that I read, The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet, or another from a book series recommended to me that I didn't read yet Awakened House of Night 8 by Cast P.C

3-Intense: New Moon by Stephenie Meyer (if you chose Twilight on 2) or
Succubus Shadows Georgina Kincaid 5 by Mead Richelle (from your TBR).

or The Lightning Thief(Percy Jackson and the Olympian.

Friends: The Hunger Games
This book has been told to me many of times that I need to read it. I keep moving it from my bookshelf to my bedside table then I get distracted by another book.
Romance: Truth Or Dare
The First Romance book I ever read and what got me hooked on Romance from the start.
Intense: PS, I Love You

Don't Forget: Outlander
I am currently reading this per one of my cousin's wife and I have to hand it to her it is great.
Support: Eclipse/Breaking Dawn
These books are actually to be read with my niece this month on the nights that I watch her so it will take us most of the month to finish them.
Bonus: The Vampire Diaries, any portion of the series. I love the TV Show and am now getting into where I need to read them to figure out how close theya are keeping to the books.

Here are my recommendations for you. I really hope that you are able to find something to read that intrests you, if not I can try again. :)
Friends : The Passage This one was recommended by Melissa**. It is probably the longest book that I have read since being a member of GR. The Passage is really different from books that I pick on my own.
Romance : (we are the Romance Readers Reading Challenge group)A Bend in the RoadI love a good Nicholas Sparks book.
Intense : Desire Untamed I bet you can tell by the name of the book why I picked this one for this catagory. I read this book in one sitting which is impressive because I'm not the fastest reader. :)
Emotions : The Host I don't usually cry while reading books but this one did it for me....a couple times. I loved this one and if you read it I bet you will too.
New : The Hunger Games I saw that you read the Percy Jackson books as well as Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter. I thought since you read those, you might enjoy this book/series.
Don’t forget : Crooked House I found this on your to be read list...I think I might read it too. :)
Support : Buddy read - The Book Thief I have had this on my TBR list for a while. I would like to read this one with you if you want to. I am only doing one challenge this month so I can make time to read it. Let me know...
Bonus : Bet Me This is "friendship fiction" for sure. Bet Me is a VERY cute and funny book. It's one of my favs.

- Thanks for all the offers to help with the re-mix. I am hoping not to need you all, but I have started a list and will let you know. I am thinking about sending out reminder PM's to people this evening or in the morning. But considering how many total we had - I think we are all doing great.
Out of all of the 'private' profiles only 1 didn't respond, so hopefully soon Pollyanna (fingers crossed)

Hi Pam! Thanks for the great picks.
If you're up for a buddy read of Desire Untamed PM me and let me know when you're ready to read.
I've added the following books to my reading list for the month - not sure what I'll try first though.
Moon Called
What Happens in London
Morrigan's Cross
Cutting Loose
The Lady Chosen
Oh, and I'm seriously considering adding the book you had down for emotions. Just not up for a heart wrenching read this month. Still getting over Lover Unleashed.

Since you only have 1 book on your shelf, I tried to go with a variety of book genres and series...hopefully there is something in this list that will work for you

The Iron Duke
The Second Duchess

The House on Olive Street - about a group of friends dealing with the death of a fellow friend and writer
Vision in White - no one does friendship like Nora Roberts - this is the first in her Wedding Quartet
I hope something here works, if not let me know and I'll see what else I can come up with.

Friendship: Dead Until Dark bu Charlaine Harris. Many people recommended it to me but I've never got the chance to read it.
Romance: Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Best. Young-Adult. Vampire. Book. Ever.
Intense: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It's an exciting book (and great series) that you don't want the book/series to end.
Emotions: Lavinia by Ursula K. Le Guin. I see you like historical fiction, you might enjoy while reading this book. Made me cry and feel happy in the same time.
New: And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Wow, you've never read Christie yet. You gotta read this book, then. (also named "Ten Little Niggers")
Don't Forget: Love Me to Death by Allison Brennan. Random pick from your TBR.
Support: Maybe...
Bonus: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

One book? That would be both terrifying AND a heap of fun.

I think you gave a lot of good options. :)

Friends:These were recommended to me a while ago but I still enjoy them."Confessions of a Duchess" by Nicola Cornick. I Read all "the Brides of Fortune series" and loved them.
Romance:Sugar Daddy/ Mine till Midnight actually the entire Hathaway Series! Also L.K's Wallflower Series including a Wallflower Christmas by Lisa Kleypas My favorite!...Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich this one if my favorite of all the Stephanie Plum Books. And Plum Spooky By Janet Evanovich is my favorite of the Stephanie Plum in Between the Numbers books. Another one "First comes Marriage " from Mary Balough this is just the first in the Huxtable family novel Series but you will love them all!
Emotions:Heart of the World (Carlotta Carlyle Mysteries)by Linda Barnes this isn't the first in the series but it was the first one I had read and I loved it so much I went back to read them all.
"Somethings I never thought I'd Do" (West End Series#1)by Pearl Cleage. This one has little bit of mystical past life charm, some drama, and of course romance all around a lovely read.
Intense:Breaking the Cycle by Zane this one made me cry for the victims... Also "So you cal yourself a Man" by Carl Weber This book classic C.W. Just when you think you know all about the characters and how this story is going to end he throws in a twist and a jaw dropping shocker! Loved it! Try "The Disapearance of Portia Barrington"by Keith Lee Johnson
New: "The Host" by Stephanie Meyers This is a Human Alien love story that makes you think cry and feel for these characters. Also "What I did for Love" by Susan Elizabeth Phillips Emotional and Funny everything S.E.P writes I love!
Support: My son is making me read "I am number four" Even though we've already seen it in the movies.I'll let you know how it reads.
Bonus: "Now you want to come back" By Anna Black I loved this one it was almost like the author had read my diary! Or try "Two grooms and a wedding" for a hilarious quick read! If you like sinfully hot,sexy,wild... try "Long Hard Ride" by Lorelei James.
Ok those are my Picks I hope you love them. I also hope I did this challenge correctly! Thanks!

Thank you for your patience, hope you find something good to read in here:
Friends : Born of Night, I see that you enjoyed Born of Fire. Born of Night is the first book in the series and was recommended to me in a past PIFM challenge. Despite being a huge SK fan, I most likely wouldn’t have tried this series without the PIFM nudge, but this book (after a slow start) was a 5 star, can’t put it down read for me.
Romance : Born in Sin is by far my very favorite romance novel. Historical romance, SK writing under a pen name. If Sin was real, my hubby would be in trouble. Love him and the heroine is pretty terrific, too.
Intense : Acheron – okay so this is three times in a row I’ve recommended basically the same author (but three different series). I can see that you are working your way through the DH series and you will get to Acheron’s story, but it is INTENSE. I could barely put it down, despite its high page count, but I don’t think I could ever read it again. It is just TOOOO MUCH.
Emotions : Alright for a good, quick laugh: Sh*t My Dad Says or for heart stopping/tear jerking experience: The Pact or Mercy
New : Nightwalker– this is a GREAT urban fantasy series. I ate the existing books up last summer and the story remains with me.
Don’t forget : Witch Heart – you’ve read the first two books and liked them. I started with the third book in the series and enjoyed it. Might be worth giving it a try.
Support : Okay, so it’s not romantic, but: The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom: Practical and Spiritual Steps So You Can Stop Worrying sounds interesting and it’s been on your TBR for a long time or I’d also be willing to buddy read: The Missing Ink, since I’ve got a lotta tattoos, always an interesting subject to me.
Bonus : Okay, three recommendations for you for this category: Vampire Academy if you want to savor some YA – great series that centers around the friendship between Rose and her best friend. Or if you want to try something a bit racy: Sweet Surrender, this series centers around a large group of friends and their adventures…of course, you could also try Six, which also centers around a large group of friends and their very intertwined adventures as well.
Enjoy.
Hello Kami!
I'm afraid you don't read much romance and I don't read much paranormal, but hopefully this won't be a problem. =)
Friends: Catching The Fire by Suzanne Collins, I really enjoyed Hunger Games!
Romance: Goddess of The Hunt by Tessa Dare, hopefully we share the same humour, because I was laughing so much in this book
Intense: The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons, my favourite, favourite, favourite book. I have never really described a book as “intense” but this is certainly one that just hit me on the head and it's like a drug, just had to read it till I finished it
Emotions: Beautiful Malice by Rebecca James, young adult fiction, I found myself being dragged along this girl's ups and downs! Well written
New: Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson, I noticed you're into paranormal, (I'm not), but I like this author's other writings
Don’t forget: Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey, you've been planning to read this for a number of years, and a lot of people have given it a high rating
Support: Crazy Hot by Tara Janzen, I found her Crazy Cool (#2) pretty good
Bonus: The Bodyfinder by Kimberly Derting, this is a great book, so great, that I kind of crossed my ABSOLUTELY NO PARANORMAL boundaries and read it! =P
