I love young adult books because of their creativity and the fact that I have three daughters at home plus I teach high school! I love being able to discuss books with my kids and students!. This book was a little dark but I liked the spin it took on the whole "zombie"-like creatures...most books or movies that deal with zombies are rather hokey but this was a more serious, sad view of the near eradication of humanity due to a disease.
