30.6 Myth-Behaving Greeks.For part A, I rolled a 4-Hades. I read Spooky Little Girl by Laurie Notaro. The main character is young woman who suddenly dies and comes back as a ghost in order to "complete" her life. Very funny and good read.
For part B, I rolled 6-Aristophanes (read a humorous book). I read The Other Shulman: A Novelby Alan Zweibel. It's the story of a middle aged man who decides to run the NYC Marathon. Parts of it were very funny, but the premise was sort of hard to wrap my mind around (there being 2 Schulmans).

15.8 From a Different PerspectiveI read A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan. This novel is told as a series of interlocking short stories, all narrated by different characters, in different styles and perspectives. One chapter is even told in Powerpoint. I really loved this book!

My mom always told me to “Walk the Goddess Walk” – meaning, act confident even when you don’t feel it… I just completed my first triathlon over the weekend, and she modified the saying to “Tri the goddess tri” and put it on t-shirts for my cheering team!
I read The Athena Project by Brad Thor. Athena was a goddess and the book is about a team of female warriors who were all recruited because of their involvement in extreme sports, including triathlons.
