I'm off to read
for this week's book. :)
Yay! Congrats on finished your "Paranormal Fiction" book, Dana! I'm glad you liked YSM! It's one of my favorite series by MacAlister.
LOL, Cowboy Pete! Love it. And congrats on another stamp ladies! You're doing great. :D
My Paranormal Fiction book is finished!!!
★★★ Finally! It seemed like this book would never end. I would have given it four stars, but the resolution just takes too long. I like the adventures, the characters, etc., and I'm looking forward to reading the next series. Of all of the Lightning Thief series, this was my least favorite.
Yay! Congrats on finishing your books, Kimberly & Kristen!!!! You're the first one to finish a book on the new shelf, Kimberly! You put us all to shame, LOL!One book left & we've got our "Paranormal Fiction" stamp, team! Woot woot! We are awesomesauce!

I finished
on the 26th April (but couldn't get online). Rated 4 stars for my Paranormal shelf read.I enjoyed this mainly due to Richelle Mead's writing...which I've enjoyed previously. Storm born mainly centers on the world of Faeries...which was written in a completely new manner to what I've read previously with faeries.
This book definitely delivered on regular mini action scenes, lost of lust and a nice little twist at the end.
Over all...wasn't too bad at all!
I will probably read the 4th BDB book. I can't remember which one that is or if I'm up to the 3rd, 4th or 5th at this point. I think 4. Better not put anything down for me yet. I may just decide on somethiing else altogether. I need some pts on PBS. So I might go for whatever vampire book I have that's wish list, postable and that I can knock out quickly.

Good Job!! :D
The mere fact that I chose this book for 'favorite series' when I had not actually read one of them probably doomed this book. It was a misery! Here is Dana's Review of Pride Mates This might officially be the only paranormal series that I don't read more of. Disappointing for sure. :(
I'll be reading
for this week's vampire read. I thought I had read all of these but apparently I missed one somewhere.
Awww! Sorry to hear you didn't like PM, Dana. =( I totally understand, though. I gave that book 1-★. It was such unbelievable crap...& the sex scenes were not hot IMO. Yes, I know that shifters are part-animal. No, I do not want to read about a hero rocking a dog collar. Here's hoping DSOTM works out better for you!YAY for our new stamp! Go, team! Go, Team!
I'm lovin' the new stamp action myself. :) So I'm going to conduct some pagan rituals this weekend and do a little native dancing (maybe sacrifice a chicken or something)...in hopes that next week will be paranormal romance. If we could get that one we would have two ways to win. SWEET!!!Our cowboy is lookin' good in purple!
Thank you all! I (& my team, I'm sure) am so excited!Congrats on finishing your "Favorite Series" book, Rachel! I enjoyed STD loads after rereading this year. I agree, Devyn is a conceited asshole, which is probably why I didn't like STD the first time I read it.
A bag? And here I was thinking Cowboy Pete grew a tail. Congrats on being the first one to finish your book for the "Vampires" shelf, Kimberly! I'm sorry to hear LU sucked. =( I quit that series after Lover Mine.
A tail!!! Well, he could be our mascot! That would fit well with our team name! :)Yeah, I'm not too thrilled about my reaction of LU. I really think I've outgrown that series. Nothing against Ward. She has plenty of people that love her stuff and that's great. I just couldn't get past some of the stuff she put in the book. Seriously, Qhuinn ran for a long ass time and no one went in to say anything other than John Matthew?
The next book is going to be about him, I think, and I don't even care. I want all the action that was in the first 4 books back.
Really? I don't know anymore. I just guessed it would be about Qhuinn because he was mentioned and his part of the book was so cryptic. You're probably right though and the next book is about Tohr. If that's the case, I will want to read that one. I like Tohr!
Tohr's? Really? There was a time when I was excited to read his story but I've quit BDB like a bad habit since then. It works well as an UF series...but it's not UF! It used to be a PNR series & for awhile it did (books 1-4 IIRC) but somewhere along the way, Ward lost her focus & now I don't know what the hell this series is. So yeah. Done. Good luck.Finished my book for Vampires.
★★★ I'm going to keep it brief since it's an ungodly hour to be up & typing right now. HTMAMV started out really well. Both Roman & his sidekicks were hilarious (I ♥ you, Gregori!). But the heroine, Shanna, was a straight dumbass. I hoped she'd show her intelligent side soon. After all, she IS a dentist. But no, not only did she proceed to act like even more of a fool but she cried nonstop too. She ruined the book to the point where even the funny scenes weren't funny anymore because she. Was. There. Ugh. If I was her friend, I'd advise her to stock up on Midol & stop crying all her life. So your man is a vampire. Get the hell over it.
Interesting, I don't remember the crying, I'll have to do a quick skim through when I have time. LOL
Kristen wrote: "My vampire book is: The Radleys"Looking forward to your review, Kristen. I received got that one to read too.
LethalLovely is a Posse Magnet wrote: "Never trust a woman who dresses like a giant highlighter."*blinks* I misread that and thought you wrote "highlander". Giant highlander doesn't sound too odd...well, comparatively...still can't picture a giant highlighter
Maybe I should turn in for the night.
Finished my vampire book last night. Here's Dana's review of Dark Side of the Moon I really enjoyed this installment of the DH series. (I think I was lax in reading the Were-Hunter stuff...bad me.) It was nice reading a heroine who basically said 'kiss this' even when everything around her is going to crap. Me likey. :) I don't mind swooning women who are afraid and physically need protection. What would all those hot heros do if they weren't saving us from baddies, eh? However, I expect my heroine to have a clue and a bit of a spine emotionally. Wallflowers don't do it for me and this heroine was no wallflower.Lethal has a great shelf in her collection that I think goes something like "slap a bitch up 'side the head" and unfortunately WAY too many heroines could fall into this shelf. I'm glad that this woman didn't beg to be put there too.
