HELLO!!!I'm here! Reading has been slow for me this week. I'm not connecting with Jaz as a character but the story is good. Or getting there.

LOL! Glad to know someone's here to keep me company.Kimberly, I totally know what you mean. I liked Jaz as a character but I couldn't relate to her at all. She's a little too "wackadoodle" & homicidal for me.
YESSSSS!I feel like I'm the one having black outs because everything feels scattered.
LOL! I have had a hard time relating too. Some funny bits though. I really like Bergman and his gadgets.
Whoo hooo! I finished my urban fiction book. 
4 stars!Review: LOVED IT! I liked it better than White Cat. Cassel is figuring out whether he wants to be a "good guy" or a "bad guy", using his transformational work. One of his brothers is murdered shortly after Cassel returns to school and Cassel is charged with helping the Feds figure out who did it. While all of this is going on, Cassel has to figure out what to do with all of the girls that he's been involved with, especially Lila, whose dad is also trying to woo Cassel to work for him. I love Cassel's voice and his arrogance, despite his insecurities. Cassel's mom also plays a bigger role in this book and she is fascinating character.

I finally started my book for this week. I didn't get far, but I started it.
Are you liking The Dead Room at all, Mary? You know you can change your book if you want to. This game is not about forcing people to read books they hate.
Oh it's not that. It's a time issue and I wanted to finish some other books up first. I normally have 2 or 3 going at once and ended up with like 6 going. Too many to keep track of at once. I love Heather Graham. She's a favorite of mine.
Ah. I know what you mean. I read multiple books at a time too & I have to remind myself to actually finish them. At one point, I had like 8 unfinished books with around 50 pages left in them. Have fun!ETA: I don't think I've read Graham's PNRs but I enjoyed some of her HRs.
I like to keep it a 3 but will occasionally juggle 4. But that's usually only if my daughter and I start a YA on audio together. But this past week I found myself with 6 books going. Too many.
Here's my review of Once Bitten, Twice Shy. 3 stars.I didn't like this as much as I thought I would, but I'm still going to read the rest.

Darn. I was hoping the next shelf would be announced so I can see what I have to read for it. I have a few books to read for paperbacksap games (no mail by dates yet). But 4 of them are paranormals and so might work for some of the remaining shelves. Steph spoiled us with mostly Sat reveals. Now I feel deprived if I have to wait until Sunday.
I know what you mean Mary. But it's all good. I have my coffee ready for when then next shelf is called! :)

I can't decide what to use for this. None of the books I had planned on reading this coming week are on there. But I have lots of books that are on that shelf. I just need to decide on one. Maybe Small Favor by Jim Butcher, maybe the 1st Psy-Changling book or maybe something else altogether. I've been in a historical/Regency type romance mood lately. Maybe I'll see if I have one that's been shelved this by someone.

for "Favorite Series".Mary, I've heard Singh's "Psy-Changeling" series is very good. I haven't read it yet but I have read her "Guild Hunters" series & think it's amazing. Good luck finding a book!

I'm kind of burnt out on paranormals right now. I think I'm going to read a Kinley Macgregor historical. I have several that are on the shelf. I'll probably just read the first one I find on my real bookshelves.

Hi, S&S! A couple of team updates for ya.
Rebecca has chosen to drop out of the game due to RL craziness at the moment. She wishes she could stick with you guys throughout the rest of the game. But, things in RL just aren't cooperating and she didn't want to hold back the team.
So, you guys will be one member short for the remainder of the game. But, things will continue on as they have - you will continue to get stamps once all players (7) have read, rated and reviewed their book. As a result of that, you have earned two add'l stamps ('shifters' & 'demons'). I'll be updating your bingo card very soon.
ETA: Sorry, I posted without reading through recent posts and see the Lovely Lethal has already updated you. Stamps on their way. :)

I spent all last week in library training (YEAH!) and was told repeatedly, "If you took the job at the library because you thought you were going to talk to people all day about books you love, you took the wrong job."

With the "paranormal fiction" stamp, that would make his bag, or some other cowboy related carrying device.
