I read a few pages of Half-Blood due to the gorgeous cover but it is too YA even for me and I have found I really like most YA. I keep wondering if I should give it more time but ......so many books, so little time. I want to only read the really good stuff that I enjoy.
Jennifer L. Armentrout the title won't even come up!

I don't generally read Stephen King, but I really enjoyed 11.22.63
Everyone tells me its good but I don't think I would like to read the subject as it would be too depressing. I haven't read a single negative comment about this book!

I couldn't put this down - loved it!

The Child Thief by Dan Smith was excellent
Ladder of Years by Anne Tyler was pretty good
A Perfectly Good Man by Patrick Gale was good but not great.
Next to finish is Heartless, The Survivor, and Hexed.

Also listening to Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters by Ben H. Winters which was a bargain buy from Poundland, unabridged cds. I am reading Flowers for Algernon, Friends, Lovers, Chocolate by Alexander McCall Smith and trying to read Empire in Black and Gold by Adrian Tchaikovsky for my sci fi group, which is really boring and I haven't finished one chapter yet!

Best wishes, Stephen Livingston."
We read this in June for our bookclub but sadly I lost the plot and the will to live about 6% in according to my kindle!

That looks really good. I've just added the first book (
Hounded) to my ever growing list of TBRs. I think I really will get around to reading this series though.

I'm contemplating the Ice and Fire series. Epic fantasy isn't usually my thing, but I've heard such good things about the books that I'm wondering if this series might be worth trying.
I'm currently reading These foolish things AKA The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Not really enjoying it though, but it could pick up.
