What are you reading at the moment?
Currently reading Children of Time. I am reading it on kindle so didn't realise how long it is before I started. I think I would have been put off but I am thoroughly enjoying it so far.I read Sleeping Giants earlier this year. I thought some of the plot was a bit far fetched however I did really enjoy it and I think I will read the sequel at some point.
I'm currently reading Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes. Just over half way through and I loving it.
I am about to finish End of Days which kept me up last night. This book would make a good movie. Its the third in a trilogy. It will make you laugh and cry!
Just Started John Grisham's latest, Camino IslandRecently finished Earnest Cline's Ready Player One - really enjoyed it and just didn't want it to end. Can't wait to see what Speilberg does with the movie next year!

Both have were shortlisted for the Arthur C Clarke awards.
Have just finished Sally Vickers' Cousins. Can't find it on here. Wonderful book. Currently reading Laura Barnett's The Versions of Us. Really skilful idea but I keep wanting to stick with the version I like best! The Versions of Use
An unexpected interest/pleasure is the feedback I am getting on my debut novel: The Stealing. It's provoking much discussion which is what I hoped for. Did Ruth do right or wrong? Or is it not quite as simple as that? The Stealing The Stealing
I did not expect so many people to comment that it was unputdownable...that really pleases me.
Just finished The Book ThiefContemplating what to start next The City & the City or A Man Called Ove or Seveneves.....
Finished The City and The City - was confusing to start with but once I got into it I enjoyed it. Now making a start on A Man Called Ove.Not Heard of Alice by Christina Henry just looked it up and it sounds interesting!
Would you class it more as fantasy or horror ?

I’ve just finished The Impossible Fortress by Jason Rekulak and I’m recommending it to everyone... I was 14 in 1987, same as Will Alf and Clarke, so the movie and song references, as well as crackpot schemes to get our hands on certain magazines is a nostalgic trip back to my youth 👍👌I’ve just started Dark Pines by Will Dean, this is very atmospheric, set in a small Swedish town called Gavrik a deaf journalist working for a local paper is caught up in the murders of a couple of locals who have had their eyes removed, which seams to link back to some unsolved murders from the 1990’s...
I’ve just started to read
by Angie Thomas. I really wanted to read this one for a while and now their is a film. Hopefully I can finish the book before the film comes to dvd release as I didn’t get a chance to watch it at the cinema.

Just started The Stand by Stephen King, I’ve read and enjoyed lots of his books over the years but despite reading door stoppers like IT and Under the Dome, I hadn’t previously picked up this one... I’m only @ 300 pages into it and still have 1000+ more to go but I am really enjoying it. Typical King with well fleshed out characters and immersive story
I just started reading the wicked king by holly black and I’m really enjoying it at this rate I will have to pick the next one in the series.
