Heya Kelley Anne, you are so right! I first read the Hunger Games because it was one reccommended by Stephanie Meyer and I was in between books. I can say, it was a book a could not put down. Who would think, kids trying to kill kids for a game. Gosh! Ater I read it, I kept remembering it for weeks, wondering what will happen next. I have read #2 Catching Fire and I'm just on pins and neddles for Mocking Jay's release. ;D

I love the Pride Series. However, I would recommend reading the Pack series books before you get too far into the Pride series because they do overlap a bit.

I suppose you could hold off for a challenge where you need a sci-fi-ish book. But still! There are three books so far. Fourth is an August release.

Gardellas--Shannon got me hooked on those. I wasn't all too keen on the first one, The Rest Falls Away, but then it had this OHMYGOODNESS ending and I was sucked in. Moody broody Max!!

Oh, get ready, this place is addicting.

You should check to see if you library has in inter-library loan system. I live in a tiny town with a tiny library, but they are part of a larger network and (best part) the network has a website. So I just sign in with my library card number, search for books throughout the entire network, and they are sent to my library for me. Totally awesome. I read at least 10 books a month from the library, and maybe 1 a month is actually from my library. I love it. :)

I will, I will, I promise...as soon as you read George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire Series, or Anne Bishop's Black Jewels Trilogy, or Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games Trilogy (last one comes out in August).

Or if you're not up for a series, how about The Book Thief or Jellicoe Road, two awesome YA stand alone books.

Or hey, how about the KMM's Fever books.....

I really loved Succubus Shadows! It's a great series & this is the best so far in my opinion.

I had to switch Percy Jackson for Mercy Thompson because my library's waiting list for that Percy books is waaay too long! I hope it's okay if I'm double dipping authors, I haven't read this author before & I like both series, especially how they are related but in different ways.

I really liked it! I'm getting the next book as soon as I get through some of the other books in this challenge. My TBR will double before I'm done this month! Not that I'm complaining... :)
I actually started with Angels' Judgement in Must Love Hellhounds and I'm really glad I did. It's listed as #1.5 in the series but chronologically it comes first which is far more important to me. It gave me a taste for the series and I had a lot of questions that were cleared up pretty well before the end of Angels' Blood. I really like the different take on how vampires are created and the arrogance of the angels was done well so it wasn't annoying to read.
