Oh wow what a good book! I actually like these better than the original Demonica books. Ares was hands down smoking hot! It is official he has made it to the top 5 book boyfriend list. Cara was a great heroine too. She's totally thrown into the paranormal world and expected to deal. Well deal she did! It was good to see the original Demonica gang too, especially Wraith. I enjoyed the humor thrown in at times. I'm glad I finally read this because it's been rotting away on my TBR. Needless to say I won't be waiting long to read Limos' book.

The story of Cadeon Woede, a mercenary demon known as the king-maker, who once upon a time was party responsible for losing his brother's throne.
Cade has been trying to atone for many centuries now and help get his brother's throne back, and their latest attempt, and what looks to be his chance to finally succeed, comes with a great cost to him. Once again he must make an impossible decision, that now involves his newly turned valkyrie woman who, once again, is beyond his reach.
Holly annoyed me for a big part of the book but Cade made up for it and I enjoyed listening to their story narrated by the always wonderful Robert Petkoff.
Next comes Rydstrom's story in Kiss of a Demon King, that I look forward to reading.

Okay this was a pretty good start to a series that I definitely want to read. Okay so the whole story behind how I found this series. So I was walking past the books section in walmart and saw the third book from this series starring at me. I liked what I read on the back and picked it up.... at the time I didn't know it was part of a series so for years it has just sat on my book shelves all lonely like because I found out it was the third one and not the first to the series so I didn't want to read it till I got the first two. Then one day I found the first book for free some how through kobo and downloaded it right away, and now I am glad to have started the series and plan to keep reading sounds like a very interesting series, and since it is completed I can just read right through all of them.
Anyway now on to the book itself man there was a lot of sexual tension in this book. Which made it even better in my opinion or maybe just hotter. Though of course the romance was predictable the plot was interesting enough to keep me intrigued. So there are these 7 Argonauts and of course each of them will have their own book I am guessing and they are in a war against demons and their leader. Who want to kill all the Argonauts and Argolean's, and of course there is a prophecy in this first one that stirs up everything. I am definitely excited to keep reading on.

I docked it a star because 7 books in and Charlie's schtick is getting a little tiresome to me. (the naming of everything and some of her silliness) Just a tiny wee bit. I still loved the book and can't wait to read the next one. This one has more scenes than usual that need tissues, especially at the end and if you are a crier like me. And the babies: (view spoiler) . Nice, if sad, set up to the next book. One thing I like best about this series and the lives of the characters actually progress. Sometimes in long series with the same main characters in each book get stuck in a rut, Stephanie Plum you know what I mean, and it's the same book over and over again.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I have a feeling I'm gonna be binging on Lords of Deliverance now. Reading another team challenge book right now then I'm back to LOD :)

You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on 'demons'.
[Your updated BINGO card can be viewed on page 1]
Good Job!! :D

I added it because it is a paranormal romance. But can I still read it for Free Space?

Thanks for allowing it for me. If you had said no I would have just saved it for another shelf.

Check the books before adding the rest of the series. Some of them might already been there.

I loved loved loved this book! I said I was on a reaper kick lately I'm not lying. Charley Davidson seems to have as much sarcasm as I normally do (So I connected with her right away) and attitude to back it up. Reyes is is to die for, and this whole book was just epic! I can't wait to start reading the next one it's a good thing I have like the next four or five in this series. I can't believe I waited so long to start this series, though to be honest I say that about every series I have had on my shelf for a little while that I fall in love with. This book will have you laughing out loud in real life or at leas that is what it did for me.

On another note I'll be done with mine today, it's draaaaaaging.....

This was not one of my favorites in the series. I really liked Olivia but Aeron just didn't do it for me. The "meat of the book" was pretty meh but then the last 1/4 was really good so hence the extra 1/2 rating. This book did set up a lot of new twists for the overall story arc though. I'd of been happier with this if it had been 100 pages shorter than it was. It was just too drawn out and dragged a lot of the time.

My daughter just lost her part time job. I'm thinking of paying her to do extra work around here instead of making her get another one. Just for a while.

Right now I just feel like vegging in front of the TV. But I'll try to finish by Wed. I already feel behind because usually by now in the game I have already finished my Free Space book and I haven't even started it yet.
I'm having a week where I just can't get in the mood to reading or listening to a book.

Mary, don't stress about it! We're in no hurry and reading shouldn't be a chore...

How are you guys doing? Enjoying your books?

Another adventure for Maggie, who has to save the world once again with the help of her new partner, Killian.
This time they are hired to bring back the ghosts that are disappearing from a famous attraction ghost ship.

Action, ghosts and an irreverent sense of humor that I'm thoroughly enjoying! Looking forward to their next adventure in M&K Tracking.
