R11: Team #13 ~ Devil's Dozen ~

Dick pre Andrea would be amazing and probably downright hysterical.

Why does it seem like every character named Isabelle is bitchy or has an attitude problem. Not like its a bad think I usually like these characters and this one is no exception. I am very curious on how the next book will play out and even Sinner the fourth book. Definitely kept me interested. It did have its slow parts like the first one but still pretty good. I think over all I would give it a 3.5 stars. I liked how the point of view changed from four different characters that helped keep the story alive in my opinion.

I liked this one better than the first one. The "I'm not worthy of her because I have no soul and besides no woman could truly love me for me" from Kyrian got a little tiring. Amanda sounded a little whiny at times but that could just be the way the narrator did her Southern accent. Sex scenes were good but I like that they didn't take over the book.

Anyone else getting error messages when trying to read goodreads posts in Firefox or IE? I kept getting "invalid API" messages but got in with Chrome.

Wow what a crazy book! The action never stopped and some major turning points in the series. I'm quiet shocked at some events. This book made me feel all sorts of emotions from joy to sorrow to laughter and anger. Back when I started this series I never expected it to evolve to the level it has. Shannon Mayer has a true gift in fleshing out a story to where you feel what the characters are feeling. I can't wait to see what book 7 brings Rylee and company...I have a feeling it will be intense!

Good news is that I am almost finished with my S book.

Review:
The story of Alex and Ted (whose nickname I really don't like), who finally find their way back to each other after many years and a lot of obstacles.
The resort is being built but not without problems, as another murder happens that causes delays. Alex and Ted get involved in Caleb's investigation to find the killer and deal with their relationship problems at the same time.
I'm really enjoying the world of Cambio Springs and I find myself intrigued by the secondary characters who will hopefully have their own stories later on, starting with Allie and Ollie next, according to the epilogue.

This is a light fun read. Not a lot different than the rest of the series. Hero thinks he's not the commitment type. Heroine thinks she can just have a fling with him even though she's been in love with him forever. Family and friends meddle. This series is good when you are looking for a light, reliable, entertaining read.

Head Over Heels (Lucky Harbor #3) - Jill Shalvis - ★★★★ (30/03/2015)
Review:
The story of free-spirited Chloe and responsible sheriff Sawyer.
Chloe is the youngest of the Traeger sisters and the most immature one according to her sisters. She is trying her best to get over her fear of setting roots and "grow up" without losing herself in the process and in the meantime finds love.
Sawyer is trying to atone for his wild teenage misadventures by working himself to exhaustion in his efforts to keep the town safe. His job is demanding and has chased away his previous girlfriends, so he doesn't think relationships are a good idea at the time.
The two have great chemistry and make a great, balanced couple, and I enjoyed listening to their story.
Next in the series comes comes Lucky in Love.

We're just one book away from both our "Shifter" shelf and the "S is for..." shelf stamps. You can see the lists if you follow the links.
Good job everyone! Looking forward to the next shelf tomorrow...

This was awesome! I lol'ed quite a few times while listening to it. Lots of great Dick Chaney moments too! From my understanding this was the last one and that makes me sad. Jane is always a good pick me up when you want a quick, funny, and entertaining read. I'm not sure where the story arc could go from this point anyways though. Jane seemed to come to terms with a lot of things in this book. I'm happy with the way everything went down. Jane deserves a HEA.
