Michelle | 2650 comments Question. Where or how can I check if an author is an indie author?
Also how do I go about finding books for question 24?

Here are some sites that list NY Bestsellers. I'll waive the requirement for 10 weeks although this first list has books that were on the list for 10+ weeks. The hardcover list tells how many weeks in small letters right above each title. But again, I'm not concerned with the ten weeks. Just that it made the list. For exp. - Abandoned in Death is on the list at #1 right now. It will no doubt be on there 10 weeks. I'll accept it for this one.

Bless you! I was worried about how much research I was going to have to do to find a book to fit this one.

Lynn (ftbooklover) | 132 comments I'm having trouble with #36 - rated 5 on Goodreads. I bought a book that was rated 5, but before I could read it, the rating went down. The only books that I can see that that are rated 5 are those that aren't yet out on the market. Any ideas?

You can count the one that was a 5 when you first saw it. We'll just say Read a book with some 5 Star ratings! :)

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3059 comments I completed round 1. I'm way behind on the rest, but one down and two to go feels good.

message 42: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 2650 comments That is great Sharon.

I'm so all over the place with this challenge I don't think I'll finish a section off before the other. Or that's what it feels like. 😂
I know I won't finhs group 1 before the others. Its nos 6,7 & 11 in that group that's going to be the last to fill I fear.

These are great fun Luffy. I love challenges as they somehow get me to read new authors or finish series that been tbr'd for so long. Finish series mostly for the other spelling challenge because I want to get to a letter for the name. ☺

Just don't be like me that joined almost all the challenges in every group I'm in. 🤦‍♀️

Point noted. I used to hope to be able to join the Pop Sugar challenge, but there are other quests less restrictive and simply more fun. I have at least 20 years of uninterrupted lifetime to be able to read read read and not worry about most other things.

Challenges are for fun! And I agree with Michelle - they often entice me to try new authors and/or genres I wouldn't otherwise find. I encourage everyone to give this challenge a try and if you get stuck on anything, give a shout out here. We'll try to give you some pointers and suggestions to help you out.
