Liam Jeffries is the Republican Mayor of New Kingston a suburb of NYC. He is a self-made billionaire bad boy heartthrob who was raised dirt-poor & used his intelligence & hard work to make it to the top. Carter Andrews is the Democrat Governor of New York. He is a millionaire all from tech companies he built after serving in Iraq. Both men can have any women he wants. When Liam publicly announces plans to bring factory jobs to New Kingston from an overseas source, he tells reporters that the Governor can go screw himself over his environmental legislation. Thus starts a feud between the two men about jobs vs. the environment. The feud grows heated with neither side backing down. The President calls on Independent New York Senator Vivian Hawthorne to negotiate between the two men before the Federal Government has to step in to straighten every thing out. Vivian is a confident beauty who grow up in a well-connect New England family & has worked hard to become junior Senator. She dates a lot of men & doesn't apologize for liking sex. When Vivian meets with Liam & then Carter she is drawn to both of them & is immediately dominated by each them. Vivian attempts to resists but finds herself unable to fight back the attraction she experience with each of them. As Vivian tries to get Liam & Carter to listen to reason, the situation escalates to the point of a physical altercation. After bailing both of them out of jail Vivian makes it clear she wants both of them & the three of them explore what that means. The news reporters start to spread rumors about the political situation with the factory jobs & about the relationship the three of them are in. With Liam & Carter's jobs on the line, they face an Ethic Committee hiring. Will either Liam or Carter lose their jobs? Will Vivian be able to figure out who is behind the rumors? Will the three of them be able to continue in a relationship?
Ok this was one hell of a fog up the windows kinda of steamy read. Alexis Angel did not hold back on bringing the sexual activities of the characters to life in detail. And there were a lot of details! I enjoyed the entertaining way she wrote this book as the characters telling the story to the readers, it was both fun & sassy. I also appreciated the fact that she has the opposing political parties working together to solve their differences in the end..... we can all hope this is possible in real life. This book is meant for mature readers.

1-2 stars. This book was a hot mess in my opinion. It was a really unique story and had a lot of potential, but it ventured into crazy town too much, IMO. First off, the cover/blurb doesn't let me know that this is not a serious romance book about politicians. This is a cheesefest, and not in the good way I love. It's not that there is insta-love though (I didn't think there was love at all), but there is mostly just not-hot raunchy sex between non-likable characters.
This is a menage story between, Vivian, a NY state senator, Carter, the governor of NY, and Liam, the mayor of a small town in NY. The story is that Liam and Carter are fighting poiltically because Liam wants to bring a factory to his town with 10,000 new jobs, but Carter doesn't want him to because it will hurt the environment. So the president of the US (insert eye-roll) calls Vivian and tells her to step and to help mediate the issue. That is the gist of the story. There is a "bad guy" in Tina, the mayor of Shanghai, China, (and leader of the communist party there) who wants to get the factory built in China instead of NY. She basically wants to sleep with the two men and she plays all the parties against each other. The story was so confusing and back and forth that I hardly had any idea what was going on. Vivian met with Liam and slept with him. Then she met with Carter and slept with him. Then she got the two men together to try to find common political ground and convinced them both to sleep with her together, even though they hated each other. Then she went back and forth between them and they all fought and didn't trust each other. There is all kinds of media articles bashing them, public fist fights between the men, careers almost ruined, etc. That goes on til the very end when they decide to compromise on the factory and all live together. They pretty much never speak about anything other than sex to each other and don't act like they want each other for more than sex until the end. Vivian, Liam, and Carter are all man-whores (and a woman-whore, I guess), pretty much sleeping with everyone and don't even bother remembering their names. I didn't really like any of their characters. They had no depth and were very superficial.
The characters break the fourth wall and speak to the reader every other sentence. Vivian calls the reader "Hun". Gag.
Ex.
"Eat your heart out, ladies, I'm a lucky girl, what else can I say?"
"Don't smile. This is serious"
"Wait, did you hear that?"
All spoken from the character's POV to the reader.
There are way too many mentions in these asides about the writing, plot points, HEAs, etc. I guess it's supposed to be funny, but it was just annoying.
"I need to be on point. Besides, I was saying something profound. Something you can end chapters with. Right."
"You're probably rolling your eyes. You're going to chalk it up to saying that this is a plot point that could have been better developed. The author was in too much of a fucking rush to get to the end and how did the transition fucking happen where I went from getting into fist fights with this guy who I'm standing next to defending him."
The sex is just raunchy. The word glans is mentioned in sex scenes 45 times! There is so much semen. In every sex scene, the scene ends both men cumming rivers all over Vivian. Every scene (and there's a lot of scenes). And most of the time they lick it off each other. Now this could be sexy. I've read books where similar things happen and liked them (sorry, not sorry), but the descriptions in this book were just gross.

"As if the three of us were in sync, I open my mouth at the exact same moment thick ropes of cum start to gush from their cocks. White strands hit me straight in the face, coating my skin and tongue in semen. Why didn't the author include that?? I'm just supposed to believe they are in love because the character is tell the reader that they did but it isn't shown.
Overall, this was just not a good read for me. I probably should have DNFed it, but I was curious enough to see how it would end and hoped the characters would become better people with real feelings, which never happened. If this book was supposed to be funny, I did not get the joke.

This book is written very tongue in cheek, as well as other places. Delicious, diabolical, with humor. Also, I feel like I learned a bit about government. So this book made me smarter. Yay for me!
I like how the author has the characters talk to the reader sometimes, it always makes me smile. Lol like when Liam says its like someone is making bad things happen to them just so someone can read about it and be entertained.
Oh did I forget to mention the S-E-X? Because this IS a mfm with all the focus on the girl. Yummy yummy. There is some dirty twisted fun in here. Me likey.

Alexis Angel has done an outstanding job with this one. I love all of her books. The book is written in the political arena. You may even learn a little about politics. The stars of the book are Liam, Carter and Vivian. They are the youngest mayor, governor and senator to hold office. They are incredibly sexy and hot alpha men and Vivian is a very intelligent and sexy woman who knows exactly what she wants and goes after it. The three of them form a hot as h*ll trio. It is well written. The characters have depth and you get their individual points of view. I was pulled in from the start. Oh not to mention there are some twist and turns in their story and hot sexy scenes that will have you fanning while you read. I definetly recommend this book. Don't delay. Does Vivian keep both? Do they get their happy ending? You have to get the book to find out the answers. I am voluntarily leaving a review after receiving the advance reader copy of this book.

This book was awesome. I really loved it. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy. Liam Jeffries is the Mayor of a small town on the outskirts of New York City. He made a deal to bring 10,000 jobs to his city. Nothing is going to stop him from bring them in not even an environmental law that prohibits such businesses. Carter Andrews is the Governor of New York and the one who passed the environmental law. The two men clash over this matter. Vivian Hawthorne is the youngest senator representing the State of New York. She is asked by the President to intercede in this matter and try to help bring a compromise. She has an immediate attraction to both men. She hooks up with Liam first and then Carter which causes more friction between the two men. There are many twists and turns. I definitely recommend this book. Alexis Angel has done it again. She is an amazing writer and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Many twists and turns are rife in this story as the main characters in this book are Liam Jeffries as the Mayor of a small town on the outskirts of New York City, Carter Andrews as the Governor of New York and Vivian Hawthorne as the youngest senator representing the State of New York. Their story definitely is filled with angst, passion, action, polticial intrigue and friction but also kinky bedroom play. Like I said, there is many twists and turns that takes place—Does Vivian end up with one or both men? Only way to find out is to grab this hot , new read by Ms. Angel—trust me, its is fabulous and soo yummy good!

I absolutely loved this book. I think it is Alex's Angles best book so far and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. This is a fun easy read that I couldn't out down. The characters are well written and the past and flow of the story keeps things moving and exciting.
Viviane is the youngest senator in US history who is tasked by the president to sort out a political squabble between Mayor Liam Jeffries and Governor Carter Andrews.
There is instant hot sexy sparks when Viv meets each of the boys. There is plenty of hot steamy sexy sex that is interwoven through out the story but not enough to over power it. This is an awesome smart funny story that will suck you in and make you fall head over heels in love with the characters.
I love the fact that Vivian is a strong confident woman who is more that capable of taking the boy on at their own game.

I loved the last book that I read by this author and this one was even more panty melting. Of course this time we get two men instead of one. I don't know if I could choose between Carter and Liam. Vivian had her hands full with these two. I knew she could handle it though.
I'm so hoping that the mayor of New York gets what's coming to him. I just can't stand that man. I can't wait for the next book by this author.
I just love how this author and her characters talk to us throughout the whole book. It's like we get a whole lot of interaction. I feel like I'm in the story and experiencing it all myself. This book was so hot that I had to take a shower afterwards.
I will warn you that this is a M/F/M book.

Red & Blue is a bonus book in Dark Angel's Buyers Market book. This book also has a bonus book, Client 5. As usual, Angel uses her formula of young gorgeous men: 6' with 8-pack abs and 12" tools and sexy ladies. There are marathon sexual encounters that are scorching hot. But this book has one of her better storylines. There is a dispute between a mayor and governor that is to be resolved by a senator. Testosterone and hormones are flying when the estrogen is savored leading to MMF and compromises, cooperation, and better leadership for their citizens. The nastiness of politics is exposed in the wake of sexual scandal. Finally, a real plot. The bonus book has the usual contrived plot but the Hh have sizzling sex on and off line.

Liam is the mayor of a small town near NYC and he promised to bring 10,000 jobs to his town, however a new environmental law passed by Carter Andrews governor for the state is not helping his cause. They fight and argue all the time, in comes Vivian Hawthorne, Senator for the state of New York and she has to intercede in order to make this happen. She meets Liam and their chemistry is off the chart and the next day she meets with Carter and the same thing happens. Does she have to chose which one she's more attracted to? Can they make it work together? Can they have an HEA?

Ok first let me say this one is one I wasn't sure I was going to like. It started off with two alpha, macho bad boys in a head to head argument ( I cleaned my lanuage up for the sensors). Honestly, I almost put the book down and walked away. I hung in there and it was worth it. This is about two macho men and the one woman they both want. Remember it's an erotic menage story when you buy it. Give it a chance, I think you will enjoy it. Alexis Angel books aren't for everyone but the ones of us who like bad boys love her!!!!!

It was really refreshing to read this book because it was written around politics which is usually not my norm. If you love corruption, love triangle and alpha males as well as one strong woman who can hold her own, then you absolutely die to read this book.

I didn't make it , I have DNF also if I wanted finish the reading, but I couldn't because the story was a steamy hot mess, Liam, Carten and Vivian were just bodies that copulate without mind to time, opportunity and etic. I must tell though that the author warned we all and she is been sincere and I appreciated it very much. Overall this book isn't my cup of te, I like read about hot sexual intercourses and sexy and exciting men and women but Red & Blue is just too much.

Ummm, can anyone say sexfest? The story could have been better developed. It was an interesting idea and the background story itself had a happy ending. But the whole relationship with 3 politicians and their HEA was a bit too far fetched. There was a lot of sex in this book...a lot! It also needs a little better editing. Quite a few spelling & grammatical errors. But it was entertaining.

Freaking Amazing
I just love your books. I like how some of the past characters come in on cameos giving you a little update here and there. I love the 1st person narration and story telling. This book was amazing with the political storyline and it was awesome. Loved the drama and suspenseful story.

This one seemed way too long. Maybe because I didn't really like it all that much. The plot, what little there was, was way out there. The characters were not that likable and were so immature especially for politicians.

Sometimes you just know when you're in the presence of greatness...and Red & Blue gives off that vibe. Alexis Angel has delivered another hot, sexy, and masterful story. The storyline is great; the characters are really something; and the trash-talking is ripped from today's headlines. The question remains -- is anyone actually running the country?

OMG this book was good from start to finish. I have to say that it was really interesting. The author did a really good job with the characters. It had me reading until my eyes started to go bleary that I knew it was time to sleep. I have recommend this book to others and bought it for my oldest daughter.

I voluntarilly reviewed an advance copy of this book. I absolutely love Alexis and her books. This book is well written with amazing character chemistry and development. I have read books like this before, the MFM style. Alexis blew this one out of the water. Liam and Carter are on completely different sides of the earth so to speak. They are both at each other for political reasons. This is all starting to boil over. Vivian a take no nonsense Senator steps in to try and get them together on the same page. Hold on to your panties this is where it gets freaking hot. I throught Vivian and Liam together was hot. Nope Vivian and Carter together is just as hot. But when you put the three of them together. Ladies you need to be in a room alone, I promise you it is freaking hot, sweet, and yummy. This is not only a well written story with great details regarding the political side of things but the sex portions are off the freaking chart. I loved loved loved it. And yes this is another of Alexis books that I added to my need to buy list. Highly recommend

A great first chapter to get you hooked into the story. It was hot and heavy right from the beginning with a little humour thrown in.
I really loved these characters and the interactions they had, very steamy. It was easy to love Liam and Carter but it took some time for me to warm up to Vivian. In the end I thought these characters were great together and I loved how much Liam and Carter changed towards each other.
I loved reading about Michael’s say in the editorials. It shows that not everyone can change no matter what and I loved that, I liked knowing what he had to say in this story too. I loved seeing a couple characters from Scandalous in this book, it was great to see how they were going.
Also loved how Alexis had these characters talk to the reader at times without it being too over the top, I felt the book had more of a connection when trying to interact (in a way) with us. Loved the turns this story had and how everything was revealed, it was very well written.

I have read a few MFM books before, but I have to say this one was very well put together. It was not an instalove and all problems solved. This one still had issues. That to me is amazing. The characters were well-defined and exciting. I love reading her books. They always seem to have me on the edge of my seat. I received this book as an ARC and I am more than please to have got it and read it.
This erotic thrill right centers around Mayor Liam Jeffries, Governor Carter Andrews, and Junior Senator Vivian Hawthorne. Their relationship in politic as well as the bedroom. You would have to be blind to not see the chemistry just by looking at the cover. Once I started I did not want to stop. There were a couple of time I had to stop for a moment or two and fan myself. Other times I was so in shock it just hand me wondering if life really can be as heat as the words on the page promised me it was.
