Wow Marie, I feel very unorganized! I've got bookcases filled, piles of books everywhere and I just recently started reading digitally. I need to get it together!

Literally hundreds of physical books purchased, and kindle books that I own, on my TBR pile--well over 1000 in total, and the wish list of books I still need to buy..... NOT going there.
I have my Goodreads TBR list, but I also have a list over at Worldswithoutend.com that has some duplicates but not all, and I have my Overdrive Wishlist, and My Amazon one. There is also the physical books I own, many are not on any list, except the one in my head. I am finding reading physical books harder to read as I get older. The font is too small. I have Battle Royale that I purchased and really want to read but the font is so small just have not been able to. I may have to purchase a reading magnifying glass. I can't wear reading glasses, because I have prescription glasses for several issues. It just feels like buying one would be admitting defeat. Plus I would look really old. I'm not even 50 yet! Most of my book purchases now are digital so I can adjust the font as needed.

It was the first "book" website I found. I was there exclusively for about 3 years before I drifted over to Goodreads now I use both.

Wow, that's amazing. It's great to see how many amazing books that are out there that we want to read. But it's sad that we don't have enough free time to read them!
Sally wrote: "Wow Marie, I feel very unorganized! I've got bookcases filled, piles of books everywhere and I just recently started reading digitally. I need to get it together!"I try not to buy physical books. They already take up too much space in my house. I started getting Kindle e-books and they're great, but easy to buy, so I have about 400 on my Kindle to read.

I purchased a Nook about 13 years ago and loaded that bad boy with Nook books, most of which I did not read. When it finally shat the bed, I drifted over to kindles and now I have a kindle full of books as well as the Nook app with books I (still) have not read, so I guess I should include those in my list of lists! Every once in a while I will make a comment about finishing one of the "Nook Books"

I sort took the Mount TBR challenge as a separate challenge from my 2022 list, but I want it to force myself to read from books I already own instead of continually going to the library! 😅I want to read 40 books overall this year, and minimum 10 of them need to be horror books from my physical TBR pile.

End of year edit: Well, I did terrible on getting through my TBR list! I have 2 sitting next to my bed, but library holds kept coming in, and the group reads were really great... Oops. I'm finishing up my last 2 books by tomorrow so I'll complete my reading challenge at least.
Hey Lindsay,I am also trying to read books from my WTR list. Some of them have been on that shelf for ten years. I'm making my WTR books priority. I've read a few and I wish I'd read them ten years ago! Plus, I'm always adding to my WTR List. Good luck to you!

I still have several books I have not read from when I owned a Nook. That was at least 10 years ago. I'm picking away at those this year. I call them my "Nook Books."
I'm making two lists in this one post, so due to their length, I'm putting them behind a spoiler tag. (view spoiler)

I've been doing pretty good this year at getting a few books off my tbr that have been there way too long. I'll never ever catch up and why would I want to. Part of the fun of reading is knowing there is a never-ending supply of material just waiting for me to get my grubby hands on it. :)
@Wendy - Same! I think I’ve got around 13-14 done this year. Really happy to focus on books that have been on my TBR for years and get in some new books too. I tried to keep the amount reasonable since I’m like a squirrel with my attention span on what I want to read each month. 🤣😂Yeah, we’ll never finish that huge pile of books waiting for us!

It took me a couple hours, but I got my list updated. I have read 105 off my list this year, but I am working on Mine which has been an amazing read so far. been on my TBR here on Goodreads since May of 2022, but on my Worlds without end list since 2017,
Welp, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I failed. I only read a few books on my horror TBR, not the 25 I was hoping for. Too many shiny new books distracting me...
