Just completed #44 (first in duology) - King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo - completed January 2022. Well that was a wild, Grisha-filled ride! “Hope was the wind that came from nowhere to fill your sails and carry you home.” I love returning to this world and that while nothing works out as planned, people with good intentions and courage can still win the day. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars

Just completed #49 (sister city #1 - nyc) - When You Get the Chance by Emma Lord. My first 5-star read of 2022, and it was exactly what I needed! From the cover, to the theater content, to the sparkly wonder of it all, I felt delightful at the end! Great plot movement and character dialogue! A true love letter nyc, theater kids, and family - those that step up and those who step in. I received this book as a free giveaway in exchange for my honest review. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars
