The cover is adorable, look at those beady eyes. A short prequel, one night stand group sex between Emily the assassin and the raccoons that helped out Kenzie. I am so looking forward to this one.

Short and Hot
Since I'm not new to Emma Dean's Council of Paranormals world, this short prequel to Emily's and the raccoons' story didn't have me lost. It was really sexy. I like how upfront they are with each other and got right down to what they wanted. I'm looking forward to more of them together.

Quick taste of a series to come
Raccoon shifters. RACCOON shifters. Emma Dean deserves an award for the concept alone! This prequel gave us a taste of the main characters in a new series. Emily is fiery and yet somehow distant, seeking comfort in 4 "lesser" shifters than her family wedding approve of. The men are fantastic and I can't wait to get to know them better. More than that, I can't wait to see what happens to bring this one night stand back together again.

Great prequel!
I can’t wait to read more about this group. They were great in the fox harem series and even in this short little book, their chemistry was smokin’ hot. I love the Council of Paranormals world!

Eleven pages of not very much happening followed by 9 pages of steamy sex with multiple partners (4).
Though it is described as a prequel it seems set up more as a tidbit for people who have read other books in the series.

2 1/2 stars. If you are looking for a steamy read this will fit the bill. I have never read about raccoon shifters before, though that doesn't play into the sex. My only complaint was I didn't get a real feeling for the different personality of the men.

EMMA!!!
Omg..... Emma is one of my top five fav authors of all time. Every series she writes is a page turner. Never disappointed, her books have humour, suspense, romance and spice. 10/10!!!!!!
