I’ve read the first 2 and they are good. Don’t have the third one. I might go for Ryker in the cold fury series as I have that but I will see what Avigail posts.

This was cute and funny and I completely devoured it! I literally spit my water onto my computer screen at one point because the laugh took me by surprise. It's not often that I get a chance to literally laugh out loud because of a book so I was pleasantly surprised.
I loved Kate's wicked mind and Miles's awesome hot alpha-ness. Seriously the book was just about perfect, but I thought it was a bit too predictable so I took off 1/2 star for that.
Otherwise it was really perfect and I'm not sure how book 2 is going to be able to top it!

parts of this story are based on the writer's actual experience writing in her local tire shop...in fact, her writing friend, Jana Aston, sent her a delivery at some point...I saw the post on FB...it made the book that much funnier to me that she pulled in her real-life experience to tell this tale! =)

Vision in White by Nora Roberts

Review: It has been a long time since I read a book by Nora Roberts, and all those two months, I read three books (two as J. D. Robb) and Vision in White. She knows how to write good romances.
Mackensie, Parker, Laurel, and Emmeline are in very hectic work, dealing with bridezillas and their families. Nora Roberts is a genius writer. She somehow taps into the subconscious of women (and men) everywhere. Her books have a happy ending, yes, but her characters also have to work for that happy ending.
The friendship between the four girls is solid, though I'm looking forward to getting more of this as the series goes on. There are so many details about Mac's photography and the business; sure, the focus is romance, but Roberts isn't going to let the reader forget that these women are smart, skilled, and strong businesswomen as well. Mac has a great character arc as she finally works on her relationship with her toxic mother and her resulting fear of commitment.
Mac's mother is the most selfish and despicable person I read as a character. She has her best friends that for her, are her true family.

Review: Reading The Cipher is like watching an episode of "Criminal Minds." Only this time, the teams need to shape up. Nina Guerrero (Wild Girls) is a lonely wolf, but to concur with her abuser, she needs to team up with her fellow FBI agents.
I loved that Isabella Maldonado incorporated today's world into this book, Twitter, Facebook, live streams, and she showed what would happen if a serial killer used those in the same way that killers mailed codes and letters to the newspapers in the 1960/the 70s, especially without editors to keep things from the populous nowadays. The updates in this book, including the strong female lead, bravo! I loved her team, her neighbors. The supporting characters in this book were great. All fleshed out and believable.
I also liked that the author isn't afraid to mix different heritages and cultures. We have a little bit of North mythology, South American cultures, and everything is intertwined smoothly. Some people would say a little over, but it is a book that makes me want to continue with the series.

That's the only bad thing about discussing books, my TBR just gets bigger.

Review: The first book in the Kate Daniels series. I have only just finished the last published book in the hidden legacy series and I think I enjoyed that series more than this book. The story of Kate trying to investigate the death of her guardian and interacting with werewolves and vampires is really interesting. I’m intrigued to find out what the secret of Kate’s magic is and how this plays out in future books.

Review: Another great book in this series. I loved Ryker and how he was with his 2 girls. I like his focus and determination to go out and get what he wants. I like Gray and her attitude towards the team and her no nonsense attitude. I liked their relationship, how they were both strong characters and yet soft towards the other.

I enjoyed this one. There was lots of action, some suspense, really great sexy times and a HEA. I enjoyed seeing the Kelly Family together. I read the first book in the series previously but I must admit I don't remember a ton about it. That didn't take away from this story at all though, so it could be read as a standalone.
Sophie was a badass, loved how fierce she was in trying to make a better life for her kid. And Sam, whew, some of those sex scenes were just...yeah. But, I wanted to kick him a lot for all the ways he screwed up with Sophie. He pulled through in the clutch though!
I wasn't a huge fan of the narrator but he did a decent job. I just felt like he narrated the sex scenes without enough emotion.
Anyway, now that I've listened/read this book, I think I'll be trying to finish the series. I want to see what the rest of the boys get up to.

Review — So much going on in this installment, but it all wove together so well. The crime was interesting and complicated. Even though I already read this book, I was still surprised by how it all unraveled. More pieces of Eve’s and Roarke’s childhood were revealed and it just broke my heart. I really enjoyed getting to know Caro more since she was a prominent character in this book and look forward to seeing Reva in future books.

Review — Oh my goodness I had such a fun time with this book! It is my first book by Ms. Dare, but I certainly look forward to more. Ashbury comes across as the hideous beast while Emma portrays the lovely beauty in this historical reimagined Beauty and the Beast. Both characters were interesting and full of layers. For her part, Emma was quite outspoken for this time period, but I think it made her that much more interesting. The banter these two shared kept me giggling and full-out laughing throughout the book, but there were some touching tender moments and some fun sexy times too! I like Emma’s new-found friends, also, and look forward to reading their happily ever afters.

This series builds slowly over the first couple of books. The first one had me intrigued, the second hooked me, by the third I couldn't wait to see what was coming next!

Sass I love the KGI boys.

Review — The premise of this story was solid, but the execution was not. There was no real character building; there was no relationship building; these three fated mates just became a triad and ran into problems. I’ve enjoyed this series for the most part so far, but this book was too rushed and flat for me.

great! I won't be done my book until tomorrow. But with your second book, Kathy, we'll have all of the 1200 pages covered so Avigail can read any book she wants!

I really enjoyed this follow up book. I was sad that the three mages weren't more heavily featured but I was glad that Tori got a chance to see just how strong she was.
And the introduction of Zak is going to throw in some interesting times going forward I can just see it. I look forward to seeing him in future books for sure.
And I knew there was something wonky with all of Tori's applications to the MPD getting lost. I wonder how long she is going to be able to delay the inevitable?
Also, she's got some more tricks up her sleeve now. Is she really human or does she have something deep-seated that she doesn't realize. Curiouser and curiouser...

Review: Magic Ops is a book about a sci-fi United States that, with the human world, are magical creatures and federal agencies who are more secret than the FBI. I liked aspects of the plot but didn't realize this was part of a larger world.
The truth I believe the only character I truly enjoyed is Rath, the troll. Especially the interaction he has with Max, the dog that Diane adopts.
The truth Magic Ops gets from me is 2.5-stars not my cup of tea; sci-fi is a hit or miss for me.
