1. Happy January Birthday!: Read a book published in January, or read a book with red on the cover in honor of January's birthstone, the Garnet

2. Baby Names! Read a book that includes a character (doesn't need to be a MC) or is written by an author with one of the following popular baby names, or any variation or nickname of one of them (example using Robert: Robert, Rob, Bob, Roberta, Bobbie, Robertson, etc).
Alternately, you may choose a book with a character that somehow represents the name's meaning (in parentheses). Some of the meanings are pretty obscure, so feel free to be creative!
This month's names: Charles (Free Man), Archer (Bowman, One Who Excels at Archery), Lucy (Light), Emily (To Strive or Excel or Rival)

8. January 24- Compliment Day- Read a book with a sweet sounding title or a book with a word in the title that attracts you to it. (i.e. Ice Cream Lover, Honey, Baby, Sweetheart, Hot and Badgered)

9. Hot Tea Month- Read a book with a nosy character or a character in the food industry or a book with the letter 'T' in the title or author's name.

10. Reader's Choice: Read any book of your choice!

You can choose any number of categories depending on your reading speed, book availability and/or time commitment.
