Thanks, Erik - I found a copy of the slipcase version of Joe Golem for less than half of sticker price on eBay for whatever reason so picked that up, cool that its signed and out of 1,000. I am guessing the didn't do this for the other HCs? Are they standard size like BPRD/Baltimore, etc?
I also picked up Locke & Key master edition 1. Not usually into horror, but this is one of those books everyone says is excellent and the format seems well done so giving it a shot.
Hope everyone had a good mother's day!

I'm not really into horror either but loved Locke and Key. The horror is very minimal IMO, but there's a creativeness that I appreciated as well as a solid emotional arc for the characters.

I love Locke & Key and hope you enjoy it too. I've got the 'master editions' but may switch over to the omnibus/compendium coming out later this year. There are a few one shots after the main series and I'm hoping that omnibus will include those as well.

I believe the author of Locke and Key stated the story was basically finished but if they ever got a movie or film he would likely write more. I know he did a couple one shot type things but I recall thinking he was talking about more of an ongoing series type writing. I'm hoping there is eventually enough for another Master Edition as I really don't want to buy the omnibus version to replace my nice Master Editions.

I’m trying to give IST as much business as I can, but when they only have 2 copies of Absolute Daytripper and they sell out, I feel forced to go to Amazon for the books I really don’t want to miss out on.
I’m sure they will get more copies . . . So I wish they would extend the 2% discount time frame while supplies are low.

Very interesting to me. I took screencaps of the excel sheets they were using to show the rescheduled omni dates: https://imgur.com/a/zgPfz7P
I didn't watch the whole thing, but what I saw, they didn't mention JMS Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 and what's going on with that, although at nearly 2 hours, I probably missed it. The Wolverine omni reprint, I'm curious how some copies are already available, but then it was stated as possible that the release in September won't have the flat spine that the copies available on Amazon right now have.
Not on the spreadsheet but also mentioned: Ben Reilly vol. 2 coming out in June, Uncanny X-Force reprint in July. I didn't hear them address UXM vol. 4, but guess sometime in 2021.

I think for UXM 4, it has to be 2021 because the UXM reprint is now all the way in December.
Other bummers for me are Infinity Crusade and Miles Morales are now bumped for 2021.
Thanks for those screenshots. I’ll try listening to the video later. I guess I’m happy things are spread out.

Thanks for putting that spreadsheet together and sharing. I updated the list here in line with that info. We'll see how things continue to develop.

I heard them mention in the video the Miles Morales reprint, but never heard a date for the sections I watched/skimmed. Bummer it’s delayed until 2021, but oh well.
And to clarify, I didn’t make any spreadsheets, just screencapped them from the video posted on YouTube.

Thanks for posting.
I watched the archived stream and I wonder if that is correct. David did say June in chat however people were asking him about alot of collections so it was hard to know if he meant the Ben Reilly Omnibus. Especially since it was originally suppose to come out in July :-/

Me too! Remender posted something on Twitter about the initial print run of 5,000 copies being close to sold out before release. A second print run is being reviewed but could take 6 months to a year to be available because of the pandemic. I'm planning to try to grab one right away when it shows up on Tuesday.

Good luck!

I've always assumed that the set weekly release dates for certain types of media are never adjusted by Monday holidays, etc.

Outside of omnis, I got a really nice Ken Lashley Daredevil sketch that I can't wait to get framed, and a graded Wolverine sketch cover with a doodle by Jim Lee. The guy I bought it off of was incredibly talkative and claims to know Jim, which I found dubious at first. However, he showed me several verified sketches he owns, including Magneto/Wolverine connecting sketch covers he's selling on eBay for $10K. He sort of had me convinced after that. Incredibly nice guy and had some fun stories.
Finally great news! I got confirmation last week and received them in the mail yesterday: the slabbed comics I sent in to CGC that were damaged by the USPS maintained their grades, so no loss to their value. Phew! CGC took good care of me, and glad that ordeal is over.
Just ordered the DDBS exclusive Black Science HC vol 3. They aren't up on the main page yet but if you click on the New Releases tab the new books are listed there.

Brubaker's Kill or Be Killed hardcover went out of stock on IST but they should be getting additional copies sometime in the near future. With the pandemic slowing distribution from the distributors I don't know if this is a sign the book is nearing going out of print or not. If it is on your list to eventually pick up it might be worthwhile to look to get a copy in the near future so you don't have to risk inflated prices (some of Brubaker's out of print hardcovers are a little pricey).
Was anyone able to get the Astonishing X-Men Omni's or the Byrne She Hulk DM Variant today on IST? I'm not sure if I missed it or if they simply weren't available today.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Both She-Hulks were up today, I got the regular because I don’t like the coloring on the other - it’s gone now but was there as an option earlier.
Yep, I got the She-Hulk variant. I saw the regular version and the Astonishing XMen for sale also.
I received my Hellblazer and Omega Men that I preordered from talesofwonder. Hard to tell if they are slower because of the whole distribution mess but the packaging was excellent. They require $100 for free shipping but I think they are a good alternate for IST.

I didn't realize this when I ordered from them in April but I'm pretty sure they are run by the same organization running InStockTrades. My order from them showed up under my orders under my account on InStockTrades.
I want to say they had or have warehouses in two different states and perhaps that is why they have different sites and names (tax purposes maybe?).

I knew they were owned by the same people. Didn’t notice my order in IST but I have different logins.
I thought TOW was around for awhile and was bought by IST but that is pure speculation.

Does the additional discount carry over across sites, or did you mean TOW also has a frequent buyer discount from week to week? I did enjoy the peace of mind with preordering and not worrying about missing it when it came out.
I guess I really need resolve my different logins between them.

TOW has a relationship with the marvel masterworks board and the collected editions board (which I'm sure a lot of people here frequent based on some of the usernames I see!). Every week they would post the releases for TOW with affiliate links for the board. They would also release a link to a page once a month that showed the upcoming releases, some of which were marked off 48% (vs the normal 42%). Those are usually just omnibus and absolute editions though. These weren't special prices but they announce it in a list, which is nice. They don't have the week to week loyalty discount that IST has, and your discount won't work if you have an order at TOW and then one at IST the following week, but if the email is the same for both accounts then your order will show up on IST when it ships out regardless of which site you ordered from.
But since covid started, I haven't seen any new items at 48% off, kind of like most new items at IST haven't been at the usual 50% the week of release.
New books coming to comic stores this week:

Parker Martini Ed Slipcover vol 1
Infinite Crisis Omnibus new edition
Super Friends Saturday Morning Cartoons HC vol 1
