Maybe my two was a bit unfair. It was an extremely educational read. I think I would have liked it more if it was going to involve more about history of weapons development and its effect on human history. Instead of the how a civilization ability to produce food effected it. The book taught me things that I found fascinating and a new way to look at how and why certain societies developed at the expense of others... I would still recommend this book to others if they are exploring this field.

I have a question....
In the number 15 Royal Title - king, duke, emperor... Can Lord be consider one of these titles? I am not sure about the Lord... I have been doing some research and it says that in some exceptions can be consider as if. I just read Lord Arthur Savile's Crime and Other Stories but I am not completely sure if is a valid royal title. Is the beginning of the year, so I will have more time and plenty of books to read with a Royal title, even more I think I already have one in mind, but I am just curious. What do you think?

Just completed #22 Something to Read - The Book of Strange New Things by Michael Faber. While I appreciate the complexity of this novel, the lack of closure left me feeling incredibly frustrated at the end. The characters were well-written, and in particular, Peter reminded me of many born-again, liberal Christian missionaries that I know. Worth reading but be warned about the lack of an ending! 3.5 stars
