Yes, there will be a 3rd book, titled "Lost in the Shadows". It's finished as of right now, other than a few final post-edit proofs that I'm waiting on. My original goal was to have it available for August, but that's being pushed back at the moment, due to financial concerns (I need to pay for artwork). However, my hope is that I'll put it up for sale by the end of September, and then have book 4 (which is *this close* to being completed) released on Halloween.

In other words, it won't be long. I promise.(less)

Hi Amanda! Sorry it took me so long to get to this. You're the person to ask me a question, so let's just say I wasn't looking for it. :)

So Breaking World. As it stands right now, David and I have hit a crossroads with this series. The sales have been lagging at best, and the reception as compared to David's other books is a bit meh. Also, the monetary payoff, when coupled with the time spent on a single volume, doesn't really equate; the carryover of readers from the Breaking World series to my individual catalog has been nil. These books are large, the plot dense, and they take quite a bit of time to construct. With my financial situation in flux at the moment, I can't justify spending 18 more months writing a series that may not be beneficial to my career.

However, that doesn't mean they *won't* be written. All three books are plotted out already, after all. Once I'm at a place where I feel comfortable dedicating the amount of time needed for this project, I'll certainly dive back in. Until then, I feel the conclusion of Blood of Gods can stand pretty well on its own.

Thanks for the question, Amanda!(less)

"Death Devours All Lovely Things" Released, Plus Infinity Trials Updates

For anyone who's just dying to delve deeper into the backstory of The Infinity Trials, I just released a 100-page novella that focuses on the history of Edwin, the grumpy vampire introduced at the end of "Boy in the Mirror," who acts as Jacqueline's guide for the remainder of the series. It's a story that goes from 19th century Ireland to America in the near future—or at least one of the many... Read more of this blog post »

J.M. I really dig how you review books with a five-score grading system to average out! That's much more thorough than how I do it. I may have to adopt your system.
