That's correct Kathryn..the list will be posted within the week, then anyone who wants to will post their top 5 reads for the year. If one of the posters is a GR friend, you can choose to read a book from their top 5 choices.

OK, thanks, Brenda. Can't wait to see what people's favourites were - I will probably do a mini-challenge from that running throughout the year like I did last year! I mean, this year - sounds like I'm in 2015 mode already!

I know exactly how you feel Brenda!! There's so many criteria that could make a book one of your top 5... highest rating, if it haunted you after you finished reading it, if you connected with one of the characters really strongly... it's a tough choice.

Ooh Outlander. Never even thought of that 1!
Great list Angela :D

One of my favourite books, Amber!

I love his books - I actually went to his zoo on Jersey just before we emigrated to Australia - I have read ALL his books.

I also loved his books - I devoured them all when I was a teenager (and going through a phase where I wanted to be a vet - decided in the end I wouldn't be able to deal with sick snakes). Loved his stories about his brother Lawrence, the writer who would swan in and out of his life on Corfu.

Loved it! Very hard to put down :)

I'm now officially jealous, Sally! I've read pretty well all of his books. I vividly remember reading Rosy Is My Relative in USSR (Uninterrupted Sustained Silent Reading) at high school. Bad move - I was up to the ballroom scene, and the 'silent' portion was punctuated by me trying to suppress laughter, tears rolling down my face, and constant quivering as I tried not to guffaw.

Loved it! Very hard to put down :)
