Lol...I'm trying to clear my 2014 challenge so I can relax :) as well as my ARCs, most of the christmas reads were short ones ;) and I want to save my Aussie authors, as far as possible, for January when I plan on doing a personal challenge in 2015 of Aussie Authors. So clearing the decks...for Santa :))

Excellent work Jules! I'm still trying to finish my 2014 challenges - have to read 3 more books to finish a SF challenge to read 12 books by female award winners. Not sure I'll make it!

Carolyn | 9892 comments Finished my third book, the first M in Summer: Mr Briggs' Hat: A Sensational Account of Britain's First Railway Murder Kate Colquhoun 4★.
Sensational only at the time it happened and definitely not a fast read with quite meticulously researched detail. I found it interesting for it's insight into crime and punishment in the Victorian era but I don't recommend it if you're after a fast paced crime novel!

I read Christmas at Cold Comfort Farm (2★'s) as part of the December challenge but could someone tell me how the strikethrough feature works? When I try it, it seems to strikethrough everything afterwards.

You have to do a forward slash before the s at the end of your strikethrough. It's hard to describe:) Read the instruction at the top of the comment box again and follow it carefully.

message 484: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn | 3569 comments Hey Dana, you have to put [s] at the beginning and [/s] at the end, but changing the [ ] to < > for it to work. If you forget the end one that's when it keeps going with the strikethrough function through the rest of your text!
