When I did the Literary Map exercise (which was a bit of fun) I got the late, much feted Australian author, Elizabeth Jolley. So for my Literary Map book, I have read The Well. I was not impressed and grudgingly gave it 2★s because the first 80 pages or so were quite entertaining.
Here's my review, though I wouldn't recommend to Aussie Readers that they rush to read this leaden offering.
