The Magic Wakes
Memory Closet
EHuman Dawn

Kira, would you be able to link your books please? That way we can check out your choices and in the case of various books with the same title (of which there seem to be lots!) we would then look at the right one;) Thanks:)

It was a toss up between Carolyn and Angela's books, Stardust and A Thousand Splendid Suns, for my #6. I think I'm in the mood for something a little lighter, so Stardust it is!Thanks ladies for great lists :)

I have a question - sorry if it's obvious! Does the new release need to have been published in Dec/Jan/Feb? :o)
Angela wrote: "I have a question - sorry if it's obvious! Does the new release need to have been published in Dec/Jan/Feb? :o)"That's correct Angela :D Sometime during Summer 14/15
7. New Release Choose a book which is to be published any time over the three months of Summer - Dec '14, Jan '15, Feb '15 - and it MUST be by an Aussie author
Angela wrote: "Lynxie wrote: "It was a toss up between Carolyn and Angela's books, Stardust and A Thousand Splendid Suns, for my #6. I think I'm in the mood for something a little light..."I'm pretty sure I've seen it already - that's the one with Claire Danes in it.

Happy to tick off another one from the list of books for the Summer Challenge. I hugely enjoyed my #4 Romance - for Valentines Day read, the Australian classic A Town Like Alice by Nevil Shute. 5★sMy review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Girl With a Pearl Earring was the MOST boring book I have ever read! I still gave it two stars, simply because it wasn't poorly written and I did finish it, but oh wow, I've found a cure for insomnia! My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I know there's the old adage of 'don't judge a book by its cover,' but I always thought it looked to be a bit of a bore.

A Town alike Alice is my backup Australian title for the Summer challenge... I still have to decide whether to read it, or my original choice, [book:The Secret Keeper|16002675] by Kate Morton, which is a much longer book!
Finished my 8th - my 2nd S - Shooting Butterflies by T.M. Clark 5★s
