Margaret (the one from Poisonous Toads) and I have discussed BRs for the two books I have remaining on the request post. So, when you have a moment, can you set up threads for:
Walden by Henry David Thoreau - November 16th start date
How to Bake a Perfect Life by Barbara O'Neal - November 19th start date.
Thanks!

Margaret, I might be joining you and Amanda (and whomever else shows) in the Howard's End and Of Human Bondage reads. Two books that I've been wanting to get around to reading. I'll just play it by ear until I get the bulk of my other reads all completed.

Oh I want to read this too. You gals are killing me. I say mid January. Maybe I can get to it later, if you do December. I seriously cannot squeeze it in sooner - there are soo many classics already - and I want to read them all. What do I do? This is insane.

I'm guessing that there are going to be a lot of latecomers to these buddy reads, Sarah. Even if you read them a few months late, I'm sure there will be some members who would pop in and discuss the book with you :).

I am definitely a classics reader, although they are going to be so much more fun to read with a buddy! I might jump in a few of the other as well if I can get copies, but I have The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov on my shelf already just begging to be read.

Shall we say second week of December? How about the 13th?

I haven't read Atonement since it first came out. I'd love to read it again, especially since I've blurred the book and the movie and can't tell what I remember from one or the other.

I'm in for late December or January, also.

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments Regarding The Map of Time (Trilogía Victoriana, #1) by Félix J. The discussion within the thread for the BR is also confusing - some say they can/will start on the first, others say the 15th. We Were Liars was a recent BOM - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
You can join in there and usually some people will start responding back.

Also, the first book in The Fifth Wave series was a BOM. So if you want to do the second one maybe posting on that thread so people who read the first one might join in.

I'd be interested in that. I love the few I've read from the series.
I don't have too many BRs in December, so I could start after the 18th(when I get back from Mexico) or in January. If no one else has any preferences you can go ahead and pick the date.
