I'd be interested in doing The Master and Margarita with you, perhaps in December?

Hi Nancy! so cool....you are a Classics reader, this will be fun. :) so I am thinking the first week or the latter part of December for The Master and Margarita, I'll give you pick and you can even set a date, how's that?

Margaret (the one from Poisonous Toads) and I have discussed BRs for the two books I have remaining on the request post. So, when you have a moment, can you set up threads for:

Thanks!
Margaret, I might be joining you and Amanda (and whomever else shows) in the Howard's End and Of Human Bondage reads. Two books that I've been wanting to get around to reading. I'll just play it by ear until I get the bulk of my other reads all completed.

Thanks for the heads-up Muffin! I'll set them up now.

We thought to start it now (probably over the weekend) so we are done before starting LotR."
I want to join in for this. Just got my copy of the book!

Oh I want to read this too. You gals are killing me. I say mid January. Maybe I can get to it later, if you do December. I seriously cannot squeeze it in sooner - there are soo many classics already - and I want to read them all. What do I do? This is insane.

Srividya...great to have you on board for this read, way fun :)

I'm guessing that there are going to be a lot of latecomers to these buddy reads, Sarah. Even if you read them a few months late, I'm sure there will be some members who would pop in and discuss the book with you :).

I think that will work, mid January. Though I will be tackling Brothers Karamazov about that time....now that will be a killer! lol

I have as many books planned for November as I usually read in a 2 or 3 month span.
This is madness!

I am definitely a classics reader, although they are going to be so much more fun to read with a buddy! I might jump in a few of the other as well if I can get copies, but I have

Shall we say second week of December? How about the 13th?

I could read

I could read

I haven't read Atonement since it first came out. I'd love to read it again, especially since I've blurred the book and the movie and can't tell what I remember from one or the other.
I'm in for late December or January, also.

I am definitely a class..."
Lucky you to have a copy! I don't have a copy but maybe I should be scouring for my own. I have so many BRs and plans set in place to get the book, I have lost track for the plan for this one. lol SO....December 13th will work. :) yay!

I am sure Denise will just leave the thread up.

Oooo yes, me please! January would be better for me.

OH! I want to join you all in reading The Woman in White. I am reading Collins' book No Name right now and am loving it. I'll read it regardless of the month picked. :)

January would suit me. How does the 1st January sound?

I'll look forward to reading it then.

So would anyone like to read

I'd be interested in Daughter of Smoke & Bone!

We Were Liars was a recent BOM - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
You can join in there and usually some people will start responding back.
Also, the first book in The Fifth Wave series was a BOM. So if you want to do the second one maybe posting on that thread so people who read the first one might join in.

Hi Tara Jo, we did a buddy read of the entire series this year, so if you don't find a buddy, feel free to pop in the threads and I'll discuss it with you. I loved this book the first time I read it. And I can't get enough of Karou - I'm delaying the reading of the last one because I don't want the magic to end.

Sounds good...thanks. I did see someone up above post it as a request, so if that falls through, I'll search out the other thread and go from there!

Does anyone want to read the Dark-Hunter by Sherrilyn Kenyon series with me? Could start in Dec or Jan.
Night Pleasures

1st Jan sounds good. I guess more people will join in if we start around that date.
Mods, could you please set up a thread for us for

I'd be interested in that. I love the few I've read from the series.
I don't have too many BRs in December, so I could start after the 18th(when I get back from Mexico) or in January. If no one else has any preferences you can go ahead and pick the date.

Esther, I could also read The Blade Itself, but also not until December or January.
