Since we only need 2019 books until we finish the current bucket, we can count that one for pages :)
yepworking on a book for the 2019 prompt but if it gets finished before I get the book done than it can count for pages
I was at the library and found Beast which was on the LGBT+ display. I'll start that along with Mister.
Hello, I'm reading A Pelican at Blandings. I have read 48 pages now. It was first published in 1969 in the UK and is set in there, so might count for a 'different decade' prompt. My edition has a blue cover with a pig. I've also completed the kickoff and reader problems tag.
You can update any section of the spreadsheet except the main, top box in the first sheet since that's our actual final summary for each bucket.
We still have two pending questions, one for finishing bucket 2 and one for finishing a second set of games. What do want to ask?
Note that the question summary with the game count is only for questions connected to the games. The bucket questions are up top :)

I finished One of Us Is Lying, but we seem to be stuck on the 2019 prompt. Should I try to read something quick for that, or are people close to finishing books in progress for that one?

Then if you’re late it can count for the next bucket :)
I’ve just started Ready Player One. This counts as a book for the AtY challenge and also an author who is new to me. Or, if we’ve competed buckets 4 and 5 before I finish then it would also work for bucket 6 - a book published in summer.
I only have about 60 pages left of Daisy Jones. I have to go out for a bit but I'll definitely be finishing it tonight.
ETA: I can even try to finish while my husband is driving

Still waiting on 2 questions to be asked. Here are the one that have been brought up:
Maybe ask century. Is the author from the 1900s or 1800s. pick one.

I update all group graphics at the end of each day. Otherwise I would be updating more than reading 😂
I like the century question with a slight caveat. Is “from” too vague? They could have crossed centuries depending on when they were born/died. Maybe “Was the author born in the 1800s/1900s.?”Some other options for a question could be something to do with the number of published works. Something along the lines of “Has the author published X or more books?”
“Has his works been adapted for film/television/theatre?”

I like both of your questions I think you are right the author could cross over

It is paperback, for ATY, and a new to me author."
I will start to read Interview with the Vampire (Entrevista con el vampiro)... Can its considere like "Book discovered during Read-A-Thon"?
Too work for:
- A new-author
- ATY
Also, For yellow cover, I can read

I think we should ask a born/died in question.
We could also ask whether their surname begins with a letter in a certain range such as A-M.
We could ask about genre but I think we should try to narrow down the century they are from first.

This is just a thought, but it might help you guys if someone on your team wanted to be the team leader over questions. Since Laura is a mod & knows who the author is, it might make it a little weird for her to form the questions. It might work well to have someone else formulate the question based on the team input.
Here is my suggestionWas the author born in the 1900's?
Sarah posted this one
“Has the author published 10 or more books?”
I just finished Daisy Jones & The Six so we're now free to move on to Bucket 4.
I'm going to answer this one since it seems there's more of a consensus for asking it:
Was the author born in the 1900's? YES
After that, we still have 3 questions remaining. These have been mentioned:
“Has the author published 10 or more books?”
Has he won awards or are they considered classics?
Does his surname begin with a letter from A-M?
“Has his works been adapted for film/television/theatre?”
I do think it would be a good idea for someone to be in charge of bolding the questions that are formally asking, so I know when the team has decided to use a question.

I can do it, I'm off work right now so I can check in every few hours. If it's ok with everyone, I will log in when we get a new question, I will give it 2 hrs then whatever question/questions have the most comments will be the official questions.
Happy to be in the next bucket! I just finished Emily of New Moon which is a book I'm using for ATY for published before 1950.
I apologize for switching up the rules, but I conferred with the other mods:
Specific author guesses will count as official guesses from here on out. So if you decide you have a specific guess then please agree as a team to use it as a guess.
We still have 3 guesses remaining.

Sorry I vanished after asking about 2019 reads--we ended up spontaneously getting together with family for dinner. Glad we have that bucket out the way now! I can easily start reads that work for ATY or have new to me authors, but I'll see if I can also match my next pick to later buckets, as with church tomorrow morning I won't be finishing anything until at *least* tomorrow evening.
