Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9973 comments As I thought Liza Perrat's first book set in Wollongong, The Silent Kookaburra, was an excellent read, the second book (which is not a sequel) The Swooping Magpie had to be on my To Be Read list. And I was not disappointed.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9973 comments Now that I am well and truly hooked on Amy Stewart's Kopp Sisters series, I am glad we only have to wait until September for #5, Kopp Sisters on the March
This one, #3 Miss Kopp's Midnight Confessions is just as good as all the others.

Deb Omnivorous Reader | 1929 comments Midnight Crossroad (Midnight, Texas #1) by Charlaine Harris by Charlaine Harris

I have read a fair bit by this author and I am often lukewarm in my feelings about her writing. This one, like many others of hers was a pleasant, unchallenging read. Would recommend to fans of Harris' writing.

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments Sydney's Mardi Gras begins today, so I thought I'd reintroduce this wonderful memoir of a man who started life as a determinedly reluctant little girl. Balls: It Takes Some to Get Some by Chris Edwards is both fascinating and funny!

Kerri_M | 589 comments Just finished I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. A YA novel, so I am not the target audience, but a little to much reliance on "fate" in this one for me.

But I can see why others have enjoyed it more than I.

A quick, YA, AA half day read, set in Australia, that I really enjoyed. Was CBCA shortlisted in 2018 - so if you like the genre, give it a go.
