Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 8924 comments As soon as I knew that The Rosie Result was coming out, it was on my wishlist. And lucky me, a copy from Text with a personal letter from Graeme Simsion! But not until I began reading did I realise how much I'd missed Don Tillman. This is a great dose of Don, and a great end to the trilogy, a big 5★s from me.
But Graeme, if you ever feel like revisiting Don and Rosie and Hudson (maybe a short story or some edited bits from this one???) I know we Don fans will welcome it with open arms!

Kerri_M | 466 comments Thanks to a sore throat and ear infection, meaning I did not go to work today, I have finished my second book for the month/year. Any Ordinary Day: What Happens After the Worst Day of Your Life? by Leigh Sales.

Not my usual type of book, but also not quite what I was expecting (I tend to skim reviews and blurbs so as not to spoil the surprise) I enjoyed this book, and particularly found the personal reflections on the role/behaviour of journalists interesting.

Carolyn | 8644 comments This was actually my last read for 2018 (still catching up!) so I don't know if you want me to post here or on the previous thread?

The Gilded Wolves (The Gilded Wolves, #1) by Roshani Chokshi The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi is a ya fantasy and has been getting a lot of 5★ reviews from that group. However I felt it fell down badly on the world building to the point of being distracting and confusing. So although the adventure side of it was quite good I could only give it 3★, but please don't let me put you off if you intend reading it - many clearly loved it!

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 8924 comments Well, almost a year after reading #1 in the Chronicles of One series by Nora Roberts, I've read the second installment Of Blood and Bone (glad I kept my review notes) and it was easily as good. I'm looking forward to #3, The Rise of Magicks, but I wish I didn't have to wait nearly a year for that one.
