Pink | 6554 comments A-Z Title Challenge 2019

The challenge is to read 26 books, each starting with a different letter of the alphabet, from A through to Z!

The books can be any genre or publication date.

Only books read between January 1st - December 31st 2019 can be included.

This challenge can be used in conjunction with all of our other challenges. So you can double up and use the same book for as many as you like! I hope you'll all join us for another year of A-Z!

NOTE: When posting advancements on your challenge, please copy and re-post your original selections with your changes or post the original message number so interested members can follow your progress.

Bibliomysterious BAM | 804 comments I told myself I would limit my challenges this year, but I'm doing so well meeting my goals I might join this one this year.

Ok so after perusing the books I’ve read so far this year I’ve every letter except J, K, X, Y, and Z. Not too shabby! Here are my reads:

A: Arthur: Prince of the Roses
B: Brother Francis: The Barefoot Saint of Assisi
C: A Court of Mist and Fury
D: The Devil's Workshop
E: Enchantress of Numbers
F: Fantastic Mr. Fox
G: Ghost Boy: My Miraculous Escape from a Life Locked Inside My Own Body
H: Hamilton: The Revolution
I: If the Allies Had Fallen: Sixty Alternate Scenarios of World War II
J:
K:
L: Life in a Medieval Village
M: The Mammoth Book of Women Who Kill
N: 1984
O: Outlander
P: A Passage to India
Q: Queens of the Conquest: England’s Medieval Queens
R: Rocket Men: The Daring Odyssey of Apollo 8 and the Astronauts Who Made Man's First Journey to the Moon
S: The Summer Queen
T: Torch Song Trilogy: Plays
U: An Unexplained Death: The True Story of a Body at the Belvedere
V: Victorian Murderesses: A True History of Thirteen Respectable French and English Women Accused of Unspeakable Crimes
W: The Winter Crown
X:
Y:
Z:

I think The Joy Luck Club will be my J selection; King of Scars will be K as soon as I buy it; X will be Xanth: The Source of Magic; Young Enough for Y because it’s the ONLY book I own that begins with Y!; and I may have to cheat on the letter Z - Zarathustra, Thus Spoke. Is that acceptable.

Congrats to you! I agree that Xs are harder to find new ones each year, and to me it just doesn't seem like a challenge unless I do. So there have been a few years that I just don't quite finish - and this year may be another of those. But I always enjoy the challenge anyway.

Happy reading and great job on your challenge.
