2017 Buddy Reads - Introduction & Sign Up

My first choice for the December group read in the Popsugar group didn't win. Is anyone else interested in reading Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI in December?

Now that the Dark Tower series buddy reads are finished I'm looking for another read(s) for November and beyond.

I have heard good things about A Monster Calls, so I'd like to join. :) When were you planning on reading this one?

I'd love to read Turtles All the Way Down, but there are only a couple copies in my library (and none on the free ebook sites I use), & there are a ton of holds on them, so I probably wouldn't even be able to get a copy until Spring! XD

I'd like to join in a Turtles All the Way Down buddy read if one happens in November. I'll possibly pass if it gets scheduled for December, just because I think I may end up reading it before then :)

I would love a buddy read for Clockwork Orange and The Alchemist. We can do one in November and one in December. I'm really worried about The Alchemist I think I'll need some motivation for that one.

Greetings, All!

Looks like December will be a quiet month for Buddy Reads with only two threads but we have had a banner year! We averaged just under nine books a month! The most books read in one month was 15! Hats off to all of our participants! I have truly enjoyed your literary feedback and look forward to more in the coming year!

I will be setting up for 2018 shortly so start thinking about what books we want to share in January! And we can still add a thread to December if there is interest…more soon!
