I've also read Uprooted already but I agree that it's a good book and would make a great buddy read.

I haven't actually read American Gods yet, but I definitely will have by next month.
I'd be up for joining you.

Of course you can! I will add you to the list of participants.

Any one interested in reading this as a Buddy Read in April? It will be released on February 21st. (And yes, I have pre-ordered it!)

Oh Mary Pat, you're telling me. I'm excessively excited. I've had it pre-ordered for ages. Honestly, I'm not sure I could wait till April to read it, and I have a feeling I might devour it in a day or two which would not be particular conducive to buddy read discussion. But I would be *so* up for discussing it if others are reading it in April.

I know what you mean! I wanted to do the buddy read in March but I am already committed to five books and four of them are buddy reads! Let's see who else is interested and go from there! I wouldn't mind if you read it in advance and discussed it in April - as long as you don't reveal! :)

Yay! Looking forward to it!

So if someone also would like to read this book, please comment.
Thank you. :-)

I'm looking to find a buddy to read Nocturnal Animals with me, AKA Tony and Susan before the movie came out. I'd like to begin this book around March is anyone else is interested with me?

That should be fine Mindy.

Is there any interest in doing a Buddy read for Winter of the World? I'm open to any month(s).

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten that far with my Ken Follett books :( I started the Kingsbridge Series and only about halfway through The Pillars of the Earth

I am actually planning to read Winter of the World this year. Does March or April works for you? Also I think it will be better to divide it in two months since is quite long

I have a few to nominate. :)
I'd like to nominate Scarlet by Marissa Meyer.
Cinder was a group read in April (i think) 2016. So I don't know if this would work as a buddy read since it's not the first book I'm nominating. Me personally, I'm actually on Winter (the fourth book in the series). The reason for nominating it is I know many people who want to continue with the series. That being said, my comment could be a complete waste of time, but I wanted to at least throw it out there lol.
Second, I want to mention The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. It's book #2 from Douglas Adam's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Book 1 has been on my list for way too long. Now that I finished it, it was such a quick read that I think it'd be a great additive as a buddy read. :) Since book 1 is so recent, maybe in March or April.
Finally, there are a couple series that are being read this month for BR that I can't get to yet. So I was wondering if The Chronicles of Narnia can be picked back up (book 1 was a GR) or A Quest of Heroes is of interest to anyone.
Sorry for being so winded! Thank you!

I have added you to the list of participants for April!

Absolutely! I don't know about you but I am very much looking forward to it!

Am I correct Taylor that you have already read Scarlet? Do you want to read it as a Buddy Read with Lindsay? I actually plan to start that series a little later in the year so maybe some folks would be interested in reading the series?
